@nwevolution Nah bro, "real skill" is not hiding and waiting for other teams to die so you can get that placement RP. I got to masters last season by fighting my way up there, not by getting a few kills and waiting for a top 5. The system now rewards boring rat gameplay.
Like, who do you think has the most skills : the player getting 10 kills top 11 or the player getting 3 kills top 8 ? we both know the answer

@Abyssloli obviously the guy top 8 with 3 kill.. it's a Battle Royal not a Death Match FPS... if you want kills play titan fall

Sweat and stress for lots of KP and minus RP can be argued as skillful but is dumb.
Where is the skill in gaining minus points.
Balancing that out with placement is a skill and is not necessarily easier but is undeniably smarter.
The goal of Ranked play is to gain RP not lose RP regardless of ones gun skills or lack thereof.
Basically I see it as if one is a killing machine and losing RP or barely gaining RP they have a severe lack of skill. Same goes for lack of KP and high placement. The skill is in finding the balance between the two.
- @Asmodeus566 I get what you mean, however getting RP now requires a playstyle that doens't fit my definition of skilled. I understand its the devs who decide what skilled means and theres nothing we can do about that.
Btw don't you thing the placement / kill RP was more balanced last season? Like, in order to gain big points you needed kills and placement, but you did not lose much RP if u died early with lots of kills. Many early kills where like a safety net.
