At what level can you last longer than 1 to 3 hits?

My level is now 63 and the highest damage I've done in a fight is 150 although a majority it is in the 30s by the time I die, it is noticeably higher than when I first started because depending on the gun thr damage was 4 to 6 or so when I first started and then went up to 9 to 14, and is now much higher.

However, my defense is still the same.  I still die at one hit, I think 3 hits is the longest I can survive and that's with the purple armor I think, but I always die instantly with white or blue armor and it's getting frustrating. This is actually the same issue I posted about on here before, but I thought it would take care of itself when my skills got better and I grinded up to a higher level.

At what level do you start lasting longer like the other players?  I can empty a whole clip into people and they can survive it, most do not even bother taking cover and walk toward you while shooting.

I thought as I went up in level my defense would increase on a scale equal to my attack.  Some have tried to tell me level has nothing to do with it, but it must because higher level players and take much more damage and deal much more damage using the same equipment.

My aim is now real good and I can one clip the dummies in the firing range even on the full combat mode, so my question is how much longer will it be before I can last through a whole gunfight without dying?  I don't understand why it doesn't break my shields first before taking health like it does for other players.

I'm on Nintendo Switch Lite and am using the gyroscope, so the game is tough considering all the flaws that has, so I try to avoid gunfights and camp in buildings as I said in other posts I made.

Idk, I'm just frustrated because I thought I could get better at this game with practice, it just seems like I've gone as far as I can go, I wish I knew a target level to shoot for so I can have a grinding goal in mind.   It's frustrating when players whose skills are not as good as mine are beating me with one hit, it takes the fun out of the game.

What blackeyeriver said a few posts back:

    End quote

I watched a few YouTubers play tonight and I noticed something.  It wasn't always the case, but sometimes there would be players who did nothing at all to fight back or take cover when they had plenty of time to do so.  I don't mean they panicked and didn't react fast enough, they just got shot down cold right where they stood not even trying. I believe these people had some kind of time delay where they did not know what was happening.  So, by the time they knew anything they got shot, and on their end all they saw was they were walking along and were hit and out of the game.

I think this explains the complaints I've had on here where some games all I hear is a sudden thump noise when I'm walking along and I'm dead, yet they say on the death screen I was shot 9 times or whatever.  I think they need to adjust for these issues, because I believe it happens way more than we think.  The YouTubers killing these people probably have thousands of dollars of state of the art equipment plus the best routers and connections money can buy since it's their income source.  Idk, but when I read his post earlier this was an idea I had.

  • @AymCTL Yes, thank you. I'm glad one person can at least see what I mean. I think people grossly overestimate the performance of this game.
