One more time:
This game already has a quit penalty in ranked play where it belongs. There is no need for a quit penalty in the casual mode of a f2p game. If you're tired of people bailing out on you then it's on you to actively search out people who won't. This game provides you with all kinds of opportunities to find like-minded players, team up with them, and friend them. If you choose to play with randoms then you need to man up for the random results that you are going to get.
And as a quick side note: If the dev offered a "Betrayal Master" badge then I would go out of my way to get it, and I bet you a lot of other people would too. Honestly, with the game in the state that it is currently, it would be a badge of honor.

About the badge - probably, you are right, people are quite sick. About the penalty only for ranked - I don't agree with you. There are a lot of time limited modes, the different types of trios - revivals etc. These modes are full of quitters, 4 from 5 matches at least 1 person quit. Sometimes 1 person quits even before the launch, which is basically ruining the experience and stealing my time. This is sick, that's why there also should be 2-3 min of penalty. Not 10 minutes.

I'm not sure that the relative number of quitters is the qualifier for whether or not the mode needs a quit penalty.
But, let's say for the sake of argument that Respawn gives all quitters, any mode, a 5 minute time out. So then let's say that a player is in a trios match and is the first to go down during the final two. Let's say you're convinced that the player who downed you was cheating. Let's say you're also convinced that your squadmates are better off fighting it out than trying to revive you. Why should that player stay for the extra 15 or 20 seconds that match has to run?
Now I'll try again with a different scenario. Let's say you have a teammate who goes with you to your hot drop and is the first player out of 60 to get downed. Let's say that player is mentally finished with the match at that point, upset at matchmaking, upset at cheaters, upset with his hot dropping jump master. Let's say that instead of riding out a 5 minute penalty he decides to stay in the match. And just put the controller down and do nothing. Or maybe he decides to grief you with gunfire and grenades, attracting every enemy within earshot. In an attempt to get both his teammates killed, partly out of spite, partly out of a desire to re-queue immediately. I could go on all night with a lengthy list of the things an angry and spiteful teammate could do to ruin your match. It would make his quitting look like a blessing. So I guess what I'm saying here is, be careful what you wish for.
Feedback on either scenario?

lmao been on all sides of your scenarios, especially the - " he decided to stay in the match to ruin it" In my defense I've only done this b/c I've seen they are doing it first to me😆
For instance, the guy that makes his own Jumpmaster decisions, I would hunt him down all away across the map, lose my teammate in the process but make sure I stay alive just to see Non-"Jumpmaster" perish!

LTM modes like TDM, Gun Run etc also has abandon penalties, not just in Ranked, but yet regular br with no respawns and infinite lives has no abandon penalty because leaving 2 members to solo a br is not as bad as leaving 2 team mates who can keep respawning and probably habe someone else load into the open spot not long after u left

Pubs has no abandon penalty because you should never have them in the casual mode of a free-to-play game. If you want reliable teammates then get a stack and play in ranked. And by all means, ask Respawn for join-in-progress. I don't know if you've ever played a game that had it, but I have and it is not even remotely what you're imagining in your head.
