Where ever I can drop that doesn't have 2-5 other teams so I can at least gear up before I die.
- HappyHourSumwur3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Kyldenar Same, man, same.
- BigMacAttack8u3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Kyldenar I wholeheartedly agree, I also just don’t think there should be a favorite landing place.

I know this makes me predictable but here goes:
My favorite POI is wherever everyone else isn't.
My favorite drop is the point on the map farthest away from where everyone else has landed.
The drop I hate the most is the one executed by my squadmates who believe that if you're not in a fight within seconds of landing then there's something wrong with player/game/world.
Detecting a pattern here?
And this season has made all this even worse with some very loose matchmaking that guarantees aggressive enemies and evenly distributed drops. I drop late, far off the line, and on the edge of the map, and I'm still pinned in between three enemy squads. I've started playing Valk because why fight the power? She's the newer, more powerful Pathfinder and I can't pretend that there is any other way to navigate this map, at least until matchmaking settles down. Not really holding my breath on that one, but time will tell. - @hayhor exactly. I just cannot be bothered to google them. I cannot even look at the in-game map for it because I always used the italian version. No, I am not changing the system language either.
I know there is the Octane's Gauntlet as well, but to me it looks like a skateboard park of sorts, so I call it the Tony Hawk's Park thingie or something. I really like Promenade. It's usually uncontested but if you land with another party the zip lines means you can get away pretty fast. The lines of site also make it easy for me if I get my fave weapon ATM, the G7 (hopefully with a scope). You can also run away to looty areas nearby and come back. Also, if you see a fight there the buidling close by are ideal for sniping/marksmen and you still have cover.
The Gardens are cool. Those statues are immense. I love touches like that, plus the child graffiti at the zip stations.
Terraformer seems to have become the hot drop location. It's worse that Fragment as all round it looks the same and there are areas that you think are corridors that are actually dead ends.
I like landing at the divide, has plenty of loot and its usually quiet, especially compared to other POIs
- @reconzero That's not loose MM. That's people spreading out a bit. In reality you shouldn't be able to land miles from every other team. There should be a team at every POI.

@hayhor
These evenly distributed drops are a feature of welterweight players, of which I am, I think, not one. So if I'm ending up in their lobbies, something that has only happened rarely, and usually mid-season, then matchmaking must be looser. That or it somehow thinks that two kills per ten matches and one win per thirty somehow makes me platinum.
