@OldTreeCreeper
"I've seen a number of posts here that implied cheating in the first post with video, but were soon shown to be possibly otherwise by more experienced heads."
Vs
"I can understand someone not seeing what the player was doing correctly, but if other players were wary of it they could confirm it with their own reports." Other players being the more experienced heads.
Basically the same thing.
Of course I don't know how they actually go into the game themselves to check these reports, but from all the controversy, it sounds like they aren't really doing anything.
Aside from inaccurate reports from someone who doesn't know the difference between hacks and a modded controller, what is the actual harm in the community being aware of a potential cheater?
Yes, it's always innocent until proven guilty, but with more people watching, wouldn't that help to confirm that?
And while I can actually see some issues with it, like harassment of the reported individual, think of it like a community watch.
Honestly the only thing different I saw in your post is you assuming that by putting a reported person in a watch list automatically means they're guilty, which I made no such statement, and that I also apparently had the ability to see every angle, which I had already made a point on saying not everyone sees everything correctly.
I reread your post multiple times before even replying to you. So perhaps instead of saying 'no you misread.' Maybe explain yourself better.
