Damage numbers need removing

Do you think there's a bug with the damage numbers or a bug with armour? Or is it because of something else such as connection?
Sometimes damage doesn't seem consistent but it's difficult to analyse in the heat of battle.
Not sure what it could be but I’m noticing increasing times that the damage I’m seeing show up is waaaay more then the heath/armour they should have but the damage dealt isn’t being processed properly.
Its like the shots are hitting but not actually applying any damage.
Could be something to do with connection as it always seems to put me in the wrong data centres.
