Decoy cheaters??

Some people seem to know suspiciously easy which Mirage is real.

They'll spin auto aim at the real one spin 180° and start firing pop up and start shooting without having to make a conscious or intelligent decision.

I'm not talking about;

- Dig Threat

- Blood scan

- Drone Scan

There are times this clearly isn't mere luck. Are there any known exploits/abuse out there?

  • @1ronKeys It’s not a cheat, the ult is fairly easy to predict. It’s uniform movement, the real mirage is not, it can still be confusing and slow down their reaction but we are talking fractions of a second.

The hotter the situation the more effective his bamboozle.

With his tactical you have to use it in creative ways.
  • @1ronKeys I would assume that the real mirage is the only one aimbot detects since it has a frame. Decoys don’t have that hence aim assist does not work on them from what I’ve seen so far. So same can be applied to exploits and other hacks and such.
  • It's because his "buff" isn't a buff at all. It's incredibly easy to figure out a players movement vs a decoy.

While some say its predictable i say a 180 snap to a target is not legit at all. It is kinda easy to tell them apart but to do a instant 180 snap to a player and down them is not legit. You may turn to find the correct one but not instantly snap to this target and down them.

How do you mean?? ... I move in an unnatural way, i move to control the/an ULT decoy as if they're me.

I'll make the real Mirage move in ways that don't look like a naturally controlled player.

This player came out into the middle of an ULT facing 170ish° away from me, and immediately turned round and started shooting me.

He didn't have "time" to watch them and try figure it out. Came out, surroundrd by Mirages, turns round direct at me starts shooting. All in about 1.5 seconds.

This was in a *hot* situation too when there were maybe  4 squads fighting. And potentially it was 2 separate fights but happening close enough to merge. Around cage.

I disagree so far, as I don't  see how??

Generally most people get Bamboozled AF when I use a decoy or ULT.

I've been maining Mirage since after first 2-3 games of Loba. So I've become more attuned with using the decoys.

And i find most time people shoot them... but I have rare occasion that people just fully ignore them and shoot direct at me with no clear deliberation.

Even players I trigger the Ult right in frontof have a hard time figuring which one is me.

Something doesn't add up right about these shoot instantly ones... i feel some are luck... but  decide to spin 170° as opposed to any of the ones you're facing??

  • @1ronKeys  Not saying it's the solution to all the scenarios, but some of it could just be pot luck lol.

Impossible to say without spectating said player really. x.x

@1ronKeys I've seen some youtubers just spray some bullets into the area of the decoys and then lock in when they get hits.

Scenario: Octane runs out of a door faced by a bunch of Mirages...

Is facing one at say "12 oclock"

Immediately spins and fires at a Mirage at "5 oclock".*

Interestingly the other time i had this issue was with an Octane.

*positionally speaking, he didn't take hours.
