1) I think most of these changes are great. S8 is looking promising.

2) I am whole heartedly disappointed that they aren’t nerfing the Mastiff. It makes me feel like the devs aren’t particularly good at their own game. Anyone playing in Plat to Pred lobbies will tell you that the Mastiff is simply too effective for a ground gun.

3) No update on audio? Consistent audio is essential in a game with SBMM. You can’t ask people to be the best version of themselves each match when something as critical as audio fails half the time. I can’t tell you how often I get killed by a team making zero sounds.

4) I appreciate the Horizon nerf but she still needs low-profile. Her hitbox is smaller than Lifeline and Wattson but she doesn’t have Low Profile. Why?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I think that at this point it's pretty obvious that either they don't play the game at all or they are so bad at it that they can't see the clearly unbalanced things we can.

    @Cro_Pittt it's the latter, clearly. Remember crafting? A dev's paraphrased justification for it was, "We want to reward players who don't want to play aggressively, like me, so we wanted to implement something to reward taking the scenic route." 

    I'm sorry, you designed your game to be fast-paced and action heavy, allowing players to have intense fights, and even allowing them to be respawned so they can get back to killing, and you want to reward people for doing the opposite of what you designed the game for? It's almost like they have no idea what they've made.

    @Cro_Pittt It’s obvious they don’t play their game, they placed a 1x2 optic on a wingman that was the most obvious indication.

      This season doesn't sound really like that much fun at all.

      Baby step changes aren't what this game needs, I've said before.  I won't swear this one off for good, but I think again no buying any battle pass right out of the gate, and I'm going to take a break into some other games.  Either it'll be good for me to get away from Apex for a bit, or for good if it isn't as much fun.

      The end of Season 8 is really turning me off, and that's one problem.  The other is it is very clear the Devs will fix some problems, but not others.  And most of the other problems are very, very major, complained endlessly about here (anything from servers to cheaters, etc).  And then you come out with a character that nerfs a bunch of characters that are already having problems?

      You think Rampart buff is really going to matter with such a poorly designed character?  And with a new character who can bring down her walls?

      Please.

      I like Apex from a shooting perspective, from a story perspective, but the game play is just awful compared to how long you wait.  I don't know what the problems of the devs are, I really don't, but I can't be tied down to them.  Olympus brought me hope early in Season 7.  These notes...take me back to as god awful as season 6 was (and all seasons for those changes that never come)

    @Cro_Pittt I think you hit the nail on the head, what do we expect from a team where the lead designer said "Literally 3 gameplays were enough for us to realize Caustic is the weakest legend"
