I've been thinking about this lately. Them getting rid of choke & putting on the weapons was one of the best decisions they made. And now I'm wondering if we need hop-ups at all? Like why not just slap em on everything? It's one less thing you have to look for when putting together your weapon. For weapons with dual hop up slots just keep the gold & ditch the purple ones. I know no one that uses Select Fire on a Havoc anyway.

It just adds a layer of complexity and frustration. But you know what it leads to, just like hopups?It leads to another layer of fun, unpredictability & fairness. Imagine having all weapons hopped up from the get-go. You’d have ppl running double prowlers, more ppl shooting with devos & havocs, another annoying sniper (havoc SF) and so on. You think the game is intense now? Wait until you see 4 teams in 1 building and all of them running devos... Only thing you’ll hear is Death working overtime.

@Lord_Scorpion34 I think some guns are more dependent on the hop ups than others.The wingman is not terrible without a SP, but it helps make the gun that much better. Where as the P2020 absolutely requires one.Lots of people claim the Havoc needs one, but honestly it's not terrible without it. It's only terrible without it if you end up in a CQC situation vs a mastiff, 99 or volt. But a Havoc with no turbo vs a flatline or 301 is not bad at all. The Turbo just makes the gun amazing.Double Tap, lots of people don't use it. But I turn it on in closer combat and shut it off for longer range shoot outs.Eva 8 is another gun that requires it.The prowler before it was a CP weapon, it was not bad without the hop up. But the hop up just made it that much better.

@Lord_Scorpion34 Removing hop-ups will clear up the loot pool of excesses. I personally hate looking for a hop-up, that's why I never run Prowler.

@dougieee Oooo a lifeline I'd like to play with!Regarding the G7- when the double tap was first put into the game the G7 was unbelievable with it. You could aim chest and get a head shot for free on the 2nd. They nerfed the fire rate once it became too OP tho.

@BaldWraithSimp Taking away hop ups will just limit gunplay and unpredictability, I runn LL with a kitted devo, that way late game i can run slightly back from my squad to assist with auto revive but still have a large mag of instantly firing energy.
The only hop that i never understood was the DT on the G17, the gun is just better on a single shot as a soft dmr, trying to control the double tap on anything over short distance is too difficult, and using it cqc will always lose.
All the guns are serviceable without them, i know a lot of players just wont bother though unless they literally just fall into their lap.
I still think the hemlock is awesome and that doesnt even have auto option.

@Koochi-Q And you! We dont need abilities? This is a hero shooter. Abilities are what brought me to the game. It makes fights way more interesting.

Regarding the G7- when the double tap was first put into the game the G7 was unbelievable with it. You could aim chest and get a head shot for free on the 2nd. They nerfed the fire rate once it became too OP tho.

@Lord_Scorpion34 honestly no. It clutters the loot pool, and the RNG factor makes it super undesirable to cart around a weapon for the express purpose of using the hop-up. Other weapons that require hop-ups will still have innate drawbacks anyway, so that can also stop people from using them. Yeah they're kind of fun, but in the long run not really worth it IMO.

@hayhor Who says heroes need abilities?! A hero can just be a normal individual with a different wardrobe! Look at firefighters! No abilities except being brave & well-trained but heroes!

@DarthValtrexI prefer the Hav with turbo cuz it does make a difference getting that 1st shot sometimes.I just feel like they should at least test all of the weapons being built in with them. It def benefited the Triple Take & PK.

I'm actually the opposite with DT on the G7. I use it for longer range & turn it off for closer range. On the Eva for me I just need a purple bolt &7 I'm good. Don't necessarily need DT on it but it's nice sometimes.

@Koochi-QI've never used the Hav as a long range weapon. I feel the other ARs are easier to use for that. I get what you're saying about the Devo but there's still people who won't run them. And brinng on the double Prowlers! I'll take them on with double Volts or 99s 😆😆😆! And abilities is what the game's about kinda. It's what makes the game a lil different from other BRs.

@hayhorwhat did I do? 😅😅😅 If it's about the havoc pllease show me the way lol. I only use turbo on it.
