@Persistance55being toxic should be bannable because a toxic person will always be toxic whatever the circumstances.
back in the days when apex was new, one wraith hit me with a barrage of insults because he was acting like a noob.
he kept splitting and engaging squads and get knocked, I revived him 3 times and respawned him once.
during last revive after I respawned him I told him " please don't split and stay with us "
he got triggered and started trash-talking and telling me to STFU and saying things like " do you think your self a pro or something ?" and a lot of F,P,A words, even my random teammate was wondering what the heck is going on

@maximas1986 He was ashamed and that was how he responded to that feeling. Some people seriously don't know how to process stuff.

Too much ego be the problem

I'll keep saying it. This game needs shadowbans. Everyone who lacks the emotional intelligence to be around other people, everyone who repeatedly quits or afks at the drop of a hat, they should be allowed to play with eachother, but only with eachother.

Quality control in a purely multiplayer game is heavily dependant on the players. People who respect their role in bringing up the quality of the game, are met with the same low quality players as anyone else. A lot of trust is placed on the developers when the only thing they provide is matchmaking, and they've been absolutely tanking it.

Ive had plenty of players in my squad call me "Trash", say im terrible at the game, using very vulgar language, etc.

This is why I usually mute teamates, how about instead of trash talking your squad, give them some tips how to improve at Apex?

@WreckingViYes, good example. They indirectly tell players that toxicity is allowed in-game by having these voice lines, then they ban players for being toxic to eachother. Its so ridiculous to have this double standard of a virtue signaling developer. Respawn || nwapseR

I've seen scenarios like your play out with content creators every now and then.  I've often seen them take this opportunity to point out what a tool team mate is being and that if they apologize and pull it together, they'll give them a rez.  You'd be surprised how many times I've seen this work!

Your story has a very satisfactory ending.  Overall, it makes for a much better story than if the guy had been normal.  So, you're in the plus column!
