EA and RESPAWN when will they respect their customers?

Sry My english... i am learning

We know how big EA is, how they made money and appreciation last year and everything! Really a big company in terms of billing, but what about customer service? respect your players?

well... the company cares a little! While we see big companies like Riot Games resolving bugs in hours and closing servers if necessary, we see RSPN and EA closing their eyes, always for the next ATT in 30 days or more ... see banner bug (45 days), Disconnects, packet loss, ranked quit glitch (2 season + punishment for those who used it, left all that time there to punish those who used the glitch created by the company itself).

Apex is the best game of the battle royale genre and this no one doubts, but it seems that it is being managed by amateurs and this is not true, it is a mega company behind it! How do you leave so much trouble for later? Laziness? Superb?

You have money and the best style game in the world, you just need to invest in the servers and hire the right people to work or a board that knows how to take a game with so much potential to its maximum. You have the knife and the cheese in your hand, what is missing?

@Wingmannedbro  Cool beans, the threads not about fortnite though

Thats not entirely true, the thread questions whether or not EA/Respawn "respects" the player base or not, comparisons to other BR's is obviously a part of that topic.

I wanted to add that this is a public forum, not your discord server, i'm a little bit done with you taking every chance to let me know how much you hate Fortnite, or any mention of it.

If you hate hearing about it, feel free to stay out of the conversation, this forum is about a BR, competing games are going to be mentioned.

It's a little rude that you keep telling me I cannot talk about things you don't like hearing about when you could also just move along and not mind it.

    Hey folks.

Please be cool toward each other here. It's totally fine for someone to enjoy a game that you might not, and there's no reason to turn that into something personal. We all have our own, unique tastes after all.

The BR genre is huge right now, and doesn't show any signs of slowing down any time soon. Drawing comparisons between the more popular games in the genre is only natural. I just ask that you stay respectful of each other here. Don't turn someone's opinion on what they like (or dislike) about a game into some kind of ammunition to attack them personally.

As always, be excellent to each other. 👍

@WingmannedbroThose end game building battles look horrendous. I haven't played it, how do hit reg and lag compare to apex?

Also that Travis Scott event looked amazing, wish I'd have known about that before hand.

Building makes FN interesting and also very hard, if you feel like you cannot take height over your opponent you can force people down by going back to ground and destroying the ground connectors.

Hit reg seems fine for the most part, but if i recall right isn't a vast improvement over Apex like Valorant does with their intended 120Hz server tickrate.

But Fortnite is mostly just very nice since it offers a mode depending on what you're looking for, and lots of community created modes like Zone Wars.

And yeah the Travis Scott event was really cool, too bad it couldn't last longer because those graphics and effects take so much better effort to make. But FN does stuff like that often.

I personally enjoyed the DJ set from Steve Aoki and Deadmau5 more since it's my kind of music.

@Wingmannedbro  I've seen countless "fortnite is better" comments on various other topics over the past few months, Which mostly have made no mention whatsoever to any other BR title,so yeah it does get a little tiresome i'm not gonna lie.

That being said, point taken i will try and do my best to ignore the monotonous fortnite commentary in future. 🙂

  • You should learn to code and then you'll see just how insanely complex software development is. No, we don't just flip 1 value to another and call it a day. Without a good QA process, you'll just introduce more bugs, and then players will complain moreso.

Ultimately, if you feel the company doesn't respect you, you need to have respect for yourself, and refuse to do business with them. As the consumer, that's all the control you really have over the situtation.

It's funny folks keep talking about coding, studio's create games using existing game engines, and those run on UNIX kernels from Linux in server infrastructure.

That's where the actual coding is done. Studio's don't create an entire new engine when they make games.

I work with DAW's like Ableton and ProTools, that doesn't mean i'm "coding" to be honest. The amount of coding done in game development is fairly minimal.

  • the thing is...they need to pay employees, so that means doing * things like focusing on making skin/charms and putting them up very overpriced

no matter what...more skins and charms come out...but * servers exist and * bugs with every update

get used to it...this is the normal for apex

we just need to wait 2 weeks after every update for the bugs to...maybe be resolved....

or just wait 800 more weeks.......to just live WITH the bugs and crashes and * that has happened since initial releease
