End of split and season pubs are the worst
Here we are again nearing the end of a split and season and pubs is again a miserable experience because Respawn hasn't done anything with matchmaking! "Early 2023"my a$$! Preds, smurfs, & cheaters...

The bulk of those players you hate are indeed only playing each other. Top bucket pub lobbies are real and they are exclusively made of Diamonds and up players. So if at any given time these lobbies exist, that means the same players are not comprising your lobbies.
I’m not saying the current matchmaking is good. I’m saying that the absolute bulk of players are being protected from the top 7% of players because matchmaking is keeping you safe from these top bucket lobbies.
I (and literally all of my Diamond and Masters friends) are not running through any “easy” lobbies of average players. We’re typically locked into the top bucket lobbies where we lose to legitimate preds 99% of the time.
Somebody has to be the fodder for the whales. And its the high Diamond/low Masters players.
