First major danger for Apex Legends since its release
Hey guys, I want to open a discussion about the imminent danger for Apex's player base.
New games come out often, but rarely do we see free multiplayer FPS games that match or beat Apex's satisfying gameplay.
Without mentioning the game's name (to make sure this discussion is mostly Apex related), I must sound the alarm! There is a better game coming out (in beta) in less than a week. Me and my Apex mates all had access to the game's pre-alpha test and it was already much better in almost every aspect. (Performance, gameplay, technological breakthroughs...)
I was expecting Apex to deliver some kind of massive update to be able to keep its industry leading position, just like when League of legends revamped the whole game to allow it to thrive through time. It did not happen. I hope my beloved game has a big surprise in store, otherwise I feel like the player base will decline massively before next summer due to competition.
What does Apex need to implement for you to consider playing it for many more years, even when ambitious competitors create games that are objectively better?
