I do enjoy playing this game, however, I am tired of people slapping a 3x on a Rampage and melting white shields with one clip from 200 + meters, 10 seconds into the game. It's a weapon that should either be in a crate or let the spitfire out of "Apex Jail" so it has some competition. #nerftherampage

Yes maybe you should read the patch notes first after a patch and try things out first. Obviously you haven't. That's why it's pointless to talk to you about it.... what you write was true in Season 10, but not in Season 11 anymore.
I think the Rampage is fine. Especially since it really needs the thermal grenade.
But buff guns, if you feel the Rampage is OP. Sick of nerfing, it's made the game ridiculous. Why are you making a gun game when the bullets do as much damage as a slap?
You might as well make a slappy fight game. Splatoon II showed it cam be done. Or do people need to be fooled into being 'serious' when the damage and weapons in the game aren't serious at all in how they work?
I don't think the rampage is too bad tbh...if I was to request a nerf for it though it'd be to the headshot multiplier as that damage is just bonkers.
As for this whole "The L-Star is a joke" tangent....if you use it extensively you'll realise its really not, the thing melts if you can control it.
Is it top tier? No. Is it trash? Definitely not.
