What is it about apex that has so many people so upset lately? The hackers are out of control we all know that but what else is it? I recently had a couple weeks off work and played way more than i should have but i was happy to have the opportunity. During that time I think i have found out what some of the reasons are. Taking this game too seriously, as many do its extremely tough to stay positive if your a solo queue player (such as myself). Teammates going in their own direction, constantly charging into engagements that are unbalanced and thirsting nonstop. Then there is the constant hot drops by players who seemingly cant ever win a 1v1. (honestly went 10 matches where both my teammates were dead within 30 seconds of landing. (all competitive mind you) So after hitting gold rank i honestly just resigned to not advancing any further. If not for the fact the game will not let me drop below 280 i'd probably be bronze again because about 1/10 games are actually playable. its honestly too bad. i like this game but certainly nothing to take seriously unless you have 2 teammates who are on mic and share your enthusiasm. Also dropping into an area, looting multiple buildings without finding a weapon in a shooter, then getting punched to death...really hate that. :PAny other thoughts on why morale is low? Definite change since launch in my opinion as far as attitudes go in game.

Dude i have 1000 hours on this game and i love/hate it, is very bad managed, a lot of issues, fixes takes for ever to come and when they do other things get broken, is so frustrating really!

I accept there are a fair share of issues with this game, some worse than others, but for me there is far too much hate (as with many other games). Code net/leaf and the server lag at the beginning of some matches is the kick in the teeth and does have me question why are they still not fixed but as for other 'issues' I roll me eyes at. Many of the issues others bring up aren't game breaking likewise are comparable to many other games. Poor team mates happens in every game but obviously is highlighted more in this game due to it being a trio but then buddy up and problem solved. Ranked mode and RP system isnt great but then it's in its infancy and should get better. As for Season pass I don't care what people say if you don't like don't buy. It's a free game and noone says you have to buy it. Offering feedback is beneficial and welcomed but too many offer their own opinion and you can not reason with. Some won't agree with me and others will say I'm stupid but hey, just my opinion.

I think it's a huge combination of all that together. Taking it super seriously (I do that I play to win not for fun) throw in random games (THIS I don't do) just because your asking to have a REALLY bad time if you go play with randoms. Takes no time or effort to jump onto discord and get a squad together since they have a HUGE server for Apex. Then throw in the hackers and you've got a smorgasbord of bad tasting foods. You jump in with randoms thinking it's going to be a good time today, you lose, they don't comm, listen, ping, do anything and go off on their own or run and hide from fights. Then you throw in every game being a coin flip because you don't know if your going to come across a hacker and if you do the game is just over at that point. All these things together just frustrate people beyond belief because if it's not dealing with random brain dead people, it's dealing with a hacker, if not that you'll get the occasional hyper toxic weirdo who does more than take the game seriously but thinks he's going to be the next top streamer or something and just goes off the walls. Add in those disconnects some people are dealing with on a regular basis.Throw in also that sometimes it takes quite some time to hear feedback and when it does come, something else breaks entirely. Every fix implemented breaks multiple other things. It's never been like ok wait a month and everything will be smooth. Instead it's wait a month for a major update to everything and then the other stuff that wasn't broken is broken. Then when they implement certain things like Elite que or now ranked they never have a PBE version for people to test so it usually comes out the gate already messed up or the point system isn't what it should be or there is just always something wrong. I think most people are just tired of it because it's been MONTHS now and a few things have been promised to be taken care of since launch and are still here plaguing the game. Community gives a bunch of feedback (some completely useless) but when there IS good feedback they quite literally don't take it into consideration and apply it.For all those reasons combined is why people are getting turned away from the game. It's a huge company not an indie game so there isn't much excuse to the current quality of the servers, and overall quality of updates.*Also want to add I am happy with the progress they've made thus far even though it's taken forever, compared to launch it's 100x better than what it was. However it should be in much better condition given the time they've had so far.

For me the only problems are hackers and code leaf/net,and to me these are not game breaking issues or anything which make ppl complain so much,I definitely agree with the og and people should stop complaining about these issues.Game is 100 times better than launch and they are listening to the community as well,tho I hate code leaf and it is annoying

@SS_Mabezan Those are absolutely game breaking issues! The code leaf/net just confirm how bad hitreg is. I mean the servers can barely keep us connected so you know they aren't handling hit calculations optimally.

Theres also a lot of people who think they are much better than they actually are, a lot of hate stems from this also, there is hit reg issues nobody denies this but I've seen so many players playing poorly and blaming "bad hit reg" xD.

Had one code leaf in the last 4 hours of playing...before the update it was pretty much every 2nd match

ppl complaining about this and that...hit reg ...blah blah blah...kinda sick of hearing it...seriously...play the game it was meant to be played....of course the disconnecting sucks...I play with language barriers everyday..I love it...much better feeling when your tmates all say "yeahhhhhh gg" at the end of the match even though no one could understand each other throughout the match.
I fell off the wagon today...so Nacho's are on me!! 😛

Best answer: the gamers who say that alot are like (lil) kids. Think about it. They aren’t what they’re expecting (fast enough) and lash out. They can do 2 things 1) throw a tantrum or 2) verbal spouting. Two of the things kids like to do.

Just think about the kid in the mall who doesn’t get a toy he wants or is not allowed to do something he wants. What does he usually say to his mommy? Hint ‘I H8 you!!!’ And then the dad smacks him across the face! Discipline your kids ppl!!!
