There is nothing I love more, than having an enemy right in my faceI crouch, and stop moving to tighten hipfire, WHILE keeping my crosshairs centered on the enemyEmpty my entire mag, and ALL the rounds go to the far corners off the cross hairsI literally have an old clip, where i had a hemlok, and ALL the hipfire shots went into the FAR UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER of my crosshairs (missing the target in the center, entirely and completely)The problem is, it doesnt do that consistentlyThis is why i am 100% convinced when I see players hipfire and hit the MAJORITY of their shots, they are running something

@MandatoryIDtag following your target with the hip-fire reticle should count for recoil control no? Was there like a secret "improve your hip-fire with this easy tip!" Apex Video I missed or something?

@pastaclown Idk, I've just been using the prowler alot lately and found I generally had better hipfire damage per burst whilst mitigating the vertical recoil?What...is this not a thing people do? O.o

@MandatoryIDtag I don't think so? You pull down while hipfiring with the Prowler? I'm confused now. Like if you were supposed to compensate for recoil while hip-firing, which way would you pull for Flatline? Or R301? Or Alternator even? The hip-fire on those guns have minds of their own. Sometimes you'll spray a target 3 meters away and every shot'll hit, and other times the bullets will come out at an angle that's not feasibly possible unless the barrel of your gun broke entirely. Havoc's the worst offender, I'm always shocked when I see people hip-fire with that thing in Youtube videos and kill someone. They'll spray 10 rounds at a target 3-5 meters away and hit 7 of 10 rounds. I'll hip-fire at a target 2 meters away and hit 4 of a 32 round mag.

Hipfire is still totally trash/RNG in this game

@BaldWraithSimp I've noticed massive inaccuracies. Hipfiring at downed opponents from point blank aim centered, not moving. Can miss a fair few.

But regardless... hipfire isn't supposed to be accurate.

@Zulopi oh...hidden mechanics. Wow they really nerfed the R301 more than I thought originally. You used to be able to perform literal gymnastics with the rifle, hip-fire, and land 90% of your shots on a target 10m away.

@1ronKeys Yeah, exactly. As long as the enemy is super close to you, you will hit most of the shots. Heck, you can be 100% accurate if you shoot at a dummy at point-blank range 😛

@BaldWraithSimp Nooo i tried with like a Longbow hipfire at point blank. About 4 or 5 missed. Had to scope it in the end. Or it hits on the 5th.

Don't wanna scope someone at pointblank... don't gotte be that surgical about it haha

100% agree. The hipfire is garbage. Multiple times missed the entire mag because of the RNG. You either ADS and hit every shot or you get knocked. This game's gunfighting is quite terrible.

@Helkath-Hazzurim Get better at it. Many who play with me here will tell you flat out ill hip fire any gun with accuracy.
