Honest Legend Rating
Below you will find my rating of legends, I have split the tiers into the shield levels, RED, GOLD, PURPLE, BLUE, WHITE, NONE.
I'm basing this off Ranked play, it doesn't have much difference.
This is just my opinion and is not map specific, just overall.
Red Shield Tier:
Wraith -> Wraith has been a meta character on this game forever. Essential for ranked play, due to here ability to get her team out of danger and reposition.
Bloodhound -> Bloodhound is a great character and has slowly but surely made his way to the top of the tree. Great for tracking down enemies, locating exactly where they are. He is a great team player now he can scan beacons and reveal the next ring location.
Lifeline -> Lifeline is just essential, being able to revive and fight at the same time is just meta. The amount of times a lifeline has saved my life and grabbed me wins due to this alone is mental she really is elite.
Gold Shield Tier:
Gibraltar -> Gibby really has always been great, it does take skill to play with him though due to his hitbox size. I think he is honestly a solid, strong and reliable legend. In the right hands he can be better than a lifeline however due to lifeline being easier to use, Gibby sits in gold for me.
Caustic -> Caustic has always been my favourite defensive legend, I can't wait to see him back on Kings Canyon he is essential on there for trapping up rooms and ratting out the Campers!
Purple Shield Tier:
Bangalore -> Bangalore has always been one of my favourite legends, I think she is hugely underrated. Her ability to throw smoke and rotate can be a lifesaver at times. Smoking out snipers so they can't see you as well enabling you and your team to rotate can be awesome as well. I think what holds her back is her ultimate, for me its not great, its easy to avoid and you can counter it by pushing straight through it once it is first thrown.
Horizon -> Horizon is incredibly fun to play with, what puts her in Purple is the amount of mobility you get with her. She is quite a selfish legend and doesn't really offer anything for her team but in the right hands she can be incredibly tricky to play against and can also change the dynamic of a push!
Pathfinder -> Path has never been the same since his nerf, however I am so excited to have him back on Kings Canyon. The mobility that Path offers is second to none, he is just pro at getting out of sticky situations and his ziplines are always great to gain an advantage over other teams.
Loba -> The only reason why Loba is now here for me is due to the fact that her black market allows teams to take ammo now. I think she's a good legend but could have easily been in the blue tier!
Blue Shield Tier:
Mirage -> Mirage is just a standard Legend. Since his buff he is more useful and his ability to revive players invisible is really good and can be massively helpful. He again is quite a selfish legend though.
Wattson -> Wattson hasn't been the same since her Nerf, she is really good on Kings though due to the smaller map, more rooms and her ultimate. I think if she had her old ultimate settings back then she would be better but she's slap bang in Blue tier for me.
White Shield Tier:
Octane -> Octane is just Octane, he just doesn't offer anything for me. I enjoy playing with him for a laugh in Pubs but he just doesn't offer the team anything at all. I still think he should move faster once he has popped his stim as well.
Revenant -> Rev is probably one of the coolest characters ever. However I just don't think he has a strong standing in the ranks against the other legends. His Ult can be great if used at the right time and silencing players can come in handy but I think he sits lower on the tree.
Crypto -> Having a Crypto on your team really slows down play, he is like the slower version of Bloodhound. You can hear the drone from a mile off, its easy to shoot down and when you see him using the drone you know that the team is down to 2 players rather than 3.
No Shield Tier:
Rampart -> Rampart is the worst legend ever produced in this game. There IMO is literally nothing you can do to her to make her remotely better. I think she will always sit on her own at the bottom. She becomes a beacon to say "we are camping here" and her walls can be destroyed so easily.
