@OldTreeCreeper Nah second split I'm going to try and make it up into Master, I still might this split. have 2 weeks to get the RP. I've played a few matches in Diamond it's not terribly difficult.
I would argue slightly above average is Gold III. Platinum, with the percentage who play it, is comfortably above average.
But Diamond is like 6% of the player base, so while you are definitely a good player if you are even a Platinum IV, Diamond is probably the lowest rank you can swing around and say you are one of the best. Not THE best, but up there. Even though if you are Platinum III+ you could say the same thing because you're basically a Diamond that didn't make it yet.
There is a big difference to getting to Diamond Solo Q though. That is much harder, and speaks to personal knowledge of the game, plus compensating for things way beyond your control, like how badly other players can play.
Someone solo-q'd to Masters, tho. That person has way thick skin. I'll tip my hat to Diamond IVs, solo q or not, and say you've done enough :D

- @KelRiever I'm working on making it to master solo que, not sure if I have enough time to do it though as the RP swings are fairly big in Diamond. Toss in that it takes 5+ KP just to break even on RP investment.
It's also much more difficult to rat in Diamond when you absolutely have to.@DarthValtrex YT made it to diamond this evening and he was delighted, but burnt out. He made nearly 400 points in plat with a gold friend, in one session on pc! And on his mobile hotspot. The pride.... 😃
