It's hard for me to decide I guess since MnK feels more like what I'm used to, so firing seems easier on MnK, but movement definitely seems much easier on controller. That's one reason I am hoping to learn controller well enough that I can track my opponents just as well as I did on the switch, but I think maybe the trick here is to tweak the sensitivity since maybe that's why I'm moving too far over when shooting. That and not being used to controlling recoil with my thumb.
I am glad to hear that you made the "Switch" ha, ha, to PC.
MnK is better the roller, looking at you @reconzero
It will just take some practice getting used to the keyboard.
You may have to play with the key-binds to get them set to what works best for you.

Oh, I've always said so. Less intuitive, but once learned then better results. Whenever I see someone doing insane motion that appears to defy game physics then obviously that's mnk. And I'm not bitter about it. I'm jealous. Not jealous enough to learn it myself or, heaven forbid, buy a WindowsTM product. But jealous just the same. Old dogs, new tricks, etc. And @AymCTL seems to confirm that aiming is yet another mnk advantage, something I have always been told and assumed was true. Despite the aim-assist conspiracy theorists.- AymCTL2 years agoSeasoned Ace
@reconzeroRight, the aim assist Is so small on the pc controllers that I can't see it impacting the game. It seems like MnK would still have the advantage not having to worry as much about recoil.
I practiced in the firing range on both today and decided to try a gun run for the first time on pc using controller. I couldn't get one kill, and I don't understand how they move so fast while trying to track and control recoil. Maybe I just need more practice before going into harder matches. I'm still having trouble tracking on controller, and on MnK I'm struggling to do strafing and different movements.
I still think the switch joycons are the most broken way to control apex, if there was only a way to get the awesome graphics and faster movement of pc combined with the switch controls it would be all the pros would use. Hahaha. I guess MnK is a close second to the joy con controller since it feels similar when you aim and the recoil doesn't need to be controlled as much.
I should probably practice a few weeks before going into anymore pc matches.
