Idea for how to handle people quitting early in TDM

My TDM experience so far is basically people quitting as soon as your team starts losing. About 3/4 of the games I've played were lost causes before Round 1 even finished; 4v6 or even 3v6. At 4v6, ...

@HappyHourSumwur Play testers do not quit. They should have been able to look at quitting in other modes to realize this might be an issue. Someone might "Why does control have a quitter penalty" and say maybe we should do something for tdm.

Giving 10 minute penalties to quitters would be pretty pointless because instead the potential quitters would either just remain in the lobby/match & just not play for the duration or just sacrifice the 10 minute penalty because that would be far shorter than some matches.The only real logical option I see would be to just shorten the matches ie just play over 1 round first to 30-50 kills instead of best of 3 rounds or shorten the time limit (it is currently set at 30 mins)

@Redmattgame why do the matches need to be shorter? Most TDMs I've played are like 1st to 100 or 2 kills. BR matches can go longer than the current TDM mode.

They just need a player fill mechanic like most other games have. Or give someone the option to switch teams to even it out like I've seen in some games.
