You've discovered quickscoping. Don't worry my friend! It's a time honored technique. Try to get the best quality stock that you can in order to maximize the speed of your quickscopes.
There are other sort of similar shooting mechanics in this game you should know. "Flash ADS": ADS for your first bullet or two with an automatic weapon, and you will retain ADS accuracy once you drop to hipfire. "Crouch hipfire": in most situations, your hipfire when crouching has less spread than if you were standing. You can (and should) combine both of these together in close-mid range encounters with SMGs and ARs, along with strafing. I have a great document covering this stuff, but I don't think I can attach a PDF file here on the forum.

@pandareno1999Ok thanks, now i understand why i always see clips of people hitting what looks like hipfire kraber shots from 20+ feet away

@Noobby_Groovy777 Hey I got lucky and was able to find the reddit post detailing these techniques I mentioned. I think it's really great. Unlike a lot of similar posts, it's written in a manner that makes it easy to understand, and also has video examples. Absorbing some of this into your play should improve your fighting skills.
