Season 16. I would suggest playing arenas this season before the next season drops.

Tbh I don't understand the logic of those that say that they don't like/or play Arenas so the mode needs to be ditched or Arenas is taking the place of LTM modes that players would rather prefer.Of all of the multiplayer shooters out there ie Overwatch 2,COD,Splitgate,Fortnite & many overs Apex has by far the fewest modes & do all the games bar Apex complain that too many modes is diluting the player base I seriously doubt it.The big drop in apex players is partly down to the complete mess in MM but is also due to the complete lack of modes (among other things) & Respawn's persistent tin-eared attitude that BR mode is the be all & end all & to add extra modes will harm BR numbers.And it's that attitude that is harming Apex & not helping it as deserting players most likely moving to other games which is doing much more harm to the player base than adding an extra mode ever could.The way both both S14 & S15 have rolled out BR mode is completely unplayable for me & I speak as a solo queue player & Arenas mode has been Apex's saving grace for me & has prevented me from deleting the game.Sometimes players just want a game mode that is short & sweet with a challenge & Arenas offers that.And yes MM can be as bad in Arenas as BR mode but the main focus is one squad versus another without the inconvenience of 3rd partying or camping & grinding out a win from being 2 rounds down or pulling off a Sudden Death victory can at times offer more satisfaction than a tense BR match.Without doubt Arenas has been criminally neglected by the devs with no new map for 3 seasons now but imagine how players would react if BR mode offered no new maps or map changes for 3 seasons also.And to say that dev's time who may work on Arenas mode would be better served on BR mode is just a complete falsehood as any buffs & nerfs of weapons & character abilities have been implemented mostly due to BR mode & so any effort devs have put into Arenas are the maps (as I mentioned no new maps for 3 seasons now).
This thread is long so I may have said this before, but I don't mind that Arenas exists. I mean, the more game modes, the better, as far as I'm concerned. And the BR format, to me, needs to be moved away from, sorry. It's fun but my personal preference is for something actually more fair, which BR really isn't...it's 20 teams with ridiculous random drops of loot. Always fun. Serious? Not so much. And Arenas, frankly, is WAY better as a competitive format in that regard.
However, I don't like that if there's going to be limited space in game modes, that it sits there like a massive millstone, when there are formats like Control and Gun Run which are both more popular and better, far as I can tell. If Control were permanent, I think it would be better, overall.
I think Respawn is hung up on it because they put a bunch of work into it. Cynically speaking, I don't see Respawn as one of the good companies for taking corrections...they're rather bad at it, really. So I just ignore Arenas mostly, and maybe I play it once in a blue moon, because its eh okay. I like buying my gear and working with a small group.
But I'd rather be playing Control. Like, by a lot.

Because that’s what the devs said that they remove LTMs because it divides the player base. The development time for BR has been obviously lessened when they were pushing hard for arenas last year since there were multiple seasons of no new LTMs or Town takeovers. They basically had the new season map update but left BR during the mid-season patch for arenas updates instead. I for one is a supporter for adding more modes but these were Respawn’s words on why they refuse to add LTMs as permanent.
@Cheese9ManI have a simple solution, arenas is kept, and so is its ranked mode. There is a separated dev team to work on arenas. A rotating stack of ltms are available. If they hired more people I think they could make the player base a lot happier, also custom matches pls!
