It’s time to accept Arenas is a dead mode

If Respawn has no plans of bringing content for this mode then why is it still a permanent mode? The last content released for arenas was March 29th, 2022.  Respawn has been pumping out maps and content for Control and Gun Run but left arenas to rot. 

If we’re not treating it as a main mode the way they introduced it back on season 9, then why is this LTM still a permanent mode? Arenas has good maps that can be used for other LTMs especially the bigger maps. Its ranked mode is also notoriously plagued with cheaters who want a cheap pred badge. 

Based from the leaks that we have right now, there might not be any content for arenas this season. Rotate the other big LTMs.

    Season 16. I would suggest playing arenas this season before the next season drops.

    @hayhor Same for me. I haven't seen the leak, but I hope Arenas isn't removed in its entirety. I use it to knock out my weekly challenges, so that I can play BR freely. I'm not a big fan of having to work on challenges in BR. Specifically the Legend/weapon specific challenges. When I play BR, my load out just depends on how the drop unfolds, and what guns I find early. I hate having to force specific weapons on myself in BR. Legends aren't as bad, but I can get those knocked out much faster in Arenas, so that I'm free to play as Pathy in BR.

    @dSKyNafinchin Yeah, I'd rather see them just dropped Ranked Arenas for permanent Control. Keep Unranked Arenas for challenges and quickplay.

    I think if Respawn believe that by ditching Arenas from being a permanent mode & just expect expect us players (who don't play BR) to flock back to BR mode then they are deeply mistaken & possibly foolish.Drop Arenas by all means but other mode(s) needs to replace it as a permanent mode & ideally the whole weekly rotation of LTM's would make most sense (Gun Run,Control,Arenas,others etc)  rather than just one mode.If the rumour-mill is true & Arenas is dropped it's not the fault of the mode itself (which for me is Apex's best mode) it is the fault of Respawn & their complete neglect of the mode with no new maps for 3 seasons,match-fill issues,rampant cheating that at times feels worse than in BR mode.& laughably paltry 10 minute ban for quitters mid-match (2 hours plus would be better) & there are lots of quitters in this mode.Like others have mentioned I too predominantly play Arenas to complete Battle Pass challenges & so to remove Arenas would be counter-productive as there would no purpose in me buying a Battle Pass full-stop.

    @Redmattgame I agree with this. This seems to be another case of developers "educating" their players on how they want the game to be played. In other words, they're doubling down on Apex=BR, at least judging from the coming LTM leaks.
    This hardly ever actually accomplishes what devs think it will, because there are tons of options for gaming these days. If their goal is "BR queues are suffering, we need to consolidate by eliminating arenas," the more likely event is that Arenas players will simply leave. Being fodder for third-party smurfs isn't my idea of fun, at least. On the positive side, anyone hanging on to the game mainly because of non-BR modes will have an easier time quitting.
