Are you kidding me? We’re six years into this game and the audio is STILL a joke. Footsteps vanish, gunfire sounds like it’s in another building when it’s literally behind me, and half the time I’m getting deleted by someone I can’t even hear coming.

Do you realize how demoralizing it is to love a game this much, stick with it for YEARS, and still have to ask in 2025: “Where are the footsteps?”

It’s not a new bug. It’s not a rare edge case. It’s a fundamental part of the game that’s never been right.

Gunfights feel unfair because audio cues don’t exist.

Outplays get ruined because the sound engine decides not to work.

Competitive integrity? Gone.

Every time we see “bug fixes and improvements” in the patch notes, we hold our breath, hoping this will finally be the time you take it seriously. And every time, it’s heartbreak.

Apex is one of the most unique, fun, and fast-paced shooters out there. But none of that matters if I can’t trust my ears. It’s beyond frustrating — it’s embarrassing.

It’s been SIX YEARS. Fix the sound. Please. Before we all give up on caring.
