So they're bringing back Skull Town as an Arena map.But they can only keep it during the event cause apparently "BR Arena maps actually load the full BR map "So...they can't be bothered to actually code it that it doesn't load the whole BR map or maybe make a map to honor their most iconic landing zone?I wasn't expecting anything and I'm still disappointed in them.edit:Some more reason why they can't keep Skull Town and/or OG KC1. "It's not canon." This kind of makes sense but at the same time it's so easy to work around it with the existence of Wraith.2. "Extra QA time each patch to check another map and make sure nothing breaks." So this is just plain old laziness then? or am I missing something?

@SheepsKing Load map and assets into 3dmax or whatever they use, in overview click n drag border over selected area, copy/paste then delete remaining. Import into source engine with some tweaks and Voilà.It'll obviously take a little more work than that but for someone who specialises in this working for a billion dollar profit game, there's no excuse.

@MassiveVernon I'm happy too but I just can't ignore the fact that they know people want Skull Town back and yet they can't even put the effort to make it a proper arena map.

I think that it's kinda stupid to call it laziness when you dont know the work that goes into what you're suggesting. These people dont have infinite time and money, they cant just grant the wishes of everyone who plays their FREE game

The one "Apex legends news" twitter page said is an oversimplifcation and I can understand the techical issues but then again why can't they just make a new map instead of reusing the old one?

@SheepsKing OG KC and Skulltown is a fan favorite and is constantly being asked for even more now when Arena mode was released. They gave people what they want but they did it half-assedly. Plus this "free" game brings in a lot of money for them so I don't get why for once they can't give their fans what they want and actually put some effort into it.
