Removing timeout counters lowers the risk of picking up your buddies though, you keep pushing for those tags and people take time guarding them. This would more or less disappear if you can just pop by on your own accord to pick up your buds. Idd say early game revives aren't very risky as long as you pick the right place and rotate fast. But lategame revives are seriously risky.
I have no idea how this would play out, so I'm fencing a bit on this one, i might be stupid but I can really get a good or bad vibe for what I would prefer off the bat.
Strategywise i like the fact that if you win you can choose to protect your win to make sure you got an edge later when you meet the survivors.

I think it's worth considering at least. If it weren't for a ring which is its own timer, I wouldn't vouch for this. But I think it would matter most for early game kills if you wanted to hang around and try to carry your mates. This also wouldn't matter for pubs much, because they would probably leave after 2:30 anyway, but I think it would help a lot to have people stick around in ranked games.

Not a bad idea either. I mean, it's pretty risky getting to a respawn site, or even setting a respawn beacon, so I get it.
