Lifeline free XP?

I was in a game earlier, had a Lifeline as a teammate.  She took off and hid between some rocks.  The other teammate got downed and insta-quit.  I got downed after a while and Lifeline would not come revive me, I finally bled out and spectated her.  She was just jumping up and down, hidden behind the rocks and throwing the health drone every minute.  Even when the ring closed, she was able to keep this up for quite a while before the drone wasn't fast enough to keep her alive.  What makes me mad is this idiot got a bunch of XP for survival time while doing nothing.

  • @Elmo_SippyThey may just have been experimenting with the drone to see how it worked. If you think they may have been cheating in some way you could report them to EAC here. I'm not sure if what you saw would be considered "piggy-backing", which was discussed in a recent "check in".

    "PIGGY-BACKING

Piggy-backing is when a player drafts off other players in the squad to carry them to a good position and level up faster but doesn't actually participate in the match [meaning they never collect a weapon, fire a shot, don’t deal any damage, etc]

We had been seeing some feedback from players around this and have been doing some internal investigations looking at game data to understand how many of the matches being played are affected by this behavior.

After looking at the data and internal discussions, we’ve decided that in the future we’ll start instituting temp bans for players that exhibit piggy-backing behavior and extreme cases could lead to a permanent ban. This change will not be immediate but wanted to give a heads up to players so you can adjust that behavior."

  • Who cares about the level in this game? It took around 1 month to reach max level. U dun even earn anything after lvl 100, except for the "almost" useless legend points

Honestly, I rather play a normal game than stand 1 place and heal.
