It removes point of having midrange weapons like r-301 against lifeline because it is already pretty hard to knock down enemy player alone in medium distance, and it is impossible to reach them in time. dont really affect three stack teams but * on solo players forcing us to make bad plays to finish fight
while update itself was unique and nice, it just provokes overly agressive gameplay that average players hate to play against because they're not good enough to do it
@GH0STEDbyME No not on reviving somebody entirely, just on the autonomous revives.
Either that or change the buff the gold backpack offers because when lifelines wearing that thing it's literally a nightmare to kill that squad.
- @tziiware Totally disagree here. If you knock someone mid-range, you have multiple options to choose from. Saying that knocking someone mid range with a lifeline in team is 'pointless' tells me you just try and rush them most times and die...
A viable option for mid range elimination is knocking, not rushing forward, but have the 5-8 seconds of revive time to get closer and put pressure on the 1/2 others in the team until you finally reach them. This way you can assess the situation with more variables in your favor instead of rushing. Like for instance the position of all members, their aim, their health status, are there other teams nearby and so on

First of all, in order to down someone, you will probably receive damage as well, so you need to heal, most of the time with bat, which takes the same time as auto-revive, which is 5-6 seconds.
And if you wait, he will just cover on something(this game is full up with cover) and just heal and you obviously did nothing.
Also when you push, this means you are moving forward without cover, and there is a big chance to get way more damage than you will inflict, because obviously they will be on the cover.
In a such fast paced game you don`t have much time to think, even 1 seconds in this game is the difference between life and death.
Auto-revive is all wrong for million reason we already stated.@LordloshBang Who says you can't push having cover as well? If your full team pushes in the open in the face of the enemy that's your fault. Ever heard of flanking your opponents? You can counter the autorevive in so many ways. Gibby and Bang's ults, Caustic o Wraith's abilities, Loba's bracelet, Octane's jumpad. You have so many options to easily get rid of the team. Another one is to always have at least 2 grenades so you can throw them at the right time to knock again the guy that got revived or zone Lifeline to make her impossible to reach her teammate. I see plenty of possibilities so i don't understand all of this hate to lifeline.
- @LordloshBang True, you'll likely take damage but let's go to a preferable situation. 3v3 mid range... 40 meter. You knock someone and their lifeline is standing 5-10m away from them. Even in the open it's 3v2 so unless they are crazy good you have upper hand as they need to defend themselves while rescuing their downed teammate.
Only thing your team has to do is advance. Even in non cover (which @Cro_Pittt already stated is weird to use as a counter) they have to divide their focus on multiple aspects while your team has to do less. If you dont take into account the potential of getting third partied, your team basically only has to worry about the push.
From 40m the downed person will obviously already be up but by that time if the advancing team played smart, they're already close, in an advantageous position or knocked another of the enemy's teammate.
The only way this plays out badly for the encroaching team is if the other team was already at an advantageous position and your team got a lucky down but still try to push. Thats on you then for getting cocky & bold instead of playing smart and use that 'downed time' to either get away or do something else.
This of course is if your teammates are up to snuff. @Faryan735 I must say, as a Lifeline main, finally, and I mean FINALLY. WE HAVE A THREAD COMPLAINING ABOUT US.
Of the big three champions to be played most frequently being Wraith, Pathfinder and Lifeline, I haven't seen a single thread about nerfing Lifeline until NOW. It's always been Path and Wraith, now finally it is our time under the broken spotlight!
Thank God Lifeline is finally overpowered!! Wooo!!!!! Take that Pathfinder, we took your place!!

Bangalore ult right ? Nice joke. He will be gone by the time missiles start dropping ...
Are we playing the same game?
So you going to use Gibralter ulty for Lifeline revive, right ? And what if they are in the cover, like a lot of the games take place into ?
And how exactly Loba bracelet or Octane`s jumpad is countering Lifeline auto-revive ? You gotta be joking, right ?
Always have at least 2 grenade to counter a passive, thats a good thing, to make you wear and keep a slot, just to counter someone passive.
We already talked about the grenade, and that everyone with a brain use them to start the engage. But you obviously overslept that part.
As far as flanking your opponent, this is strongly depend on the situation. In many situation you can`t do this, also auto-revive does not take forever. You are going to lose a lot of time.

This of course is if your teammates are up to snuff. This is strongly dependable. If its in a building, they got a cover, in order to push you won`t have. Two people will shoot at you.
One or 2 of your team, maybe even 3 may be low heal, because they engage.
You may down one, but the enemy team most probably do damage to you and your ally.
So your options are go push and try to prevent the auto-revive(tho you are not full hp), throw grenades if you have and pray they are not aiming at you that time, and to land them, or heal and then try to push, but it will be all over, because he will be up, and you lost a bit of time, and there is a biig chance a third party to come and f***** you up.I got a similar situation, they manage to downed me and the Wraith of our team, through the window and through third parting and no one expected this. Lifeline quickly auto-revive us, and the time they push us, we was already switches armor from the box and heal.
This situation not going to work if we were in the dead open through.
What i starting to hate is certain people that defend this b.c.(not you) and they imagine and talk just a one perfect situation for you, and thats it. And this game offers million situations and every single one is different because of million factors that plays a role.
Yeah there is a situation where Lifeline auto-revive wont help you. But this situation are literally few,and there is million where is game breaking, game changing, and its totally unfair.
Writing down the same thing over and over again its not fun and i`m going to stop.
