Silver level caustic hits me with 5 headshots with an r99 out of 9 bullets through gas with no digi. Sure he can see me but still. Good ole console players and over powered aim assist. I watch top Apex Preds on pc with mouse and keyboard and I NEVER see them laser this ridiculously. Its ONLY aim assist players. Remove this crap now

@TperodactylYes, there are some controller players that are so good they can compete with good KBM players— but by and large, KBM has the higher skill ceiling as it is literally a more responsive, intuitive, and precise aiming tool. I mean, aren’t people intrigued as to why controller shooters had aim assist added at all? It’s because aiming with joysticks is a very limited method for aiming.This truth is backed by fact that KBM has dominated controller in competitive FPS scenarios for the last two decades.

I always find it funny how on PC when people get beamed they complain about Aim assist and when people on console get beamed they complain that it must be a M&K player haha!

@Fireskelet I DONT F.CKING CARE HOW MANY 'ADVANTAGES' I HAVE ON PC. I bought a PC so i didnt have to play on console anymore or with a controller. I'm TIRED of getting aim assisted by BAD playersyet again i get killed by a level 12 that one mags me with a flatline. I have played in a bunch of diamond lobbies against apex preds on mouse and keyboard and i am telling you controller players consistently laser me more than mouse and keyboard

@SWgeebzIdiots disagree with him but thats about it...There are tons of high tier players that wanna get rid of it cuz it just does not belong into a competetive game... Free aimbot is legit against every kind of competetive gameplay....Even the biggest Apex name arround atm aka ImperialhalBtw no matter how many years you are going to practise you will never be as good as that aimbot, its simply impossible cuz of something called reactiontime...The avg Player argument is the worst someone could bring up,does it actually matter if he would be an AVG player or not? why should an AVG K+M player lose on default against an AVG Controllerplayer?And yes thats what they most of the time do, they closer they get the bigger the disadvantage gets...pretty dumbBtw i am a Dia 2 soloqueue player, am i avg to you? i mean do i need to get 2 mates to push pred to make my opinion valuable?I mean its pretty easy to get pred if you decide to

@Tperodactyl The matter of the fact is.There is no way to be as accurate on controller as you can on K&M so it has to be made up for somehow. When I say 'no way' obviously you could probably get close with a high amount of practice!Maybe try and not play in cross-platform lobbies as well and just stick with the PC players.@SWgeebzPlease try and keep the forums clean and abide by the right etiquette, the way that your message is worded can come across as quite patronising and rude.Players on here are a mixed bag of abilities and everyone has the right to moan / post what they want (to a degree).

@rockyboy1998 Good post bro.

Idk why people are still complaining about this when it's been proven (on a thread here) that the aim assist isn't even as strong as they say it is. It's more of a hindrance when you're shooting at someone and his teammate runs between you and your reticle starts floating off. Then you've also got dead zones to stop stick drift (you don't get that * ok pc).

Movement is a lot more limited on console and we can't pull off crazy stunts like these guys do. Like it was said tho you can literally turn crossplay off xD

If AA ain't *, then just turn it off. That has been my gripe all along. No reason to call anybody cry babies. Just turn it off and do it all yourself. Then nobody can take it from you. If you are hiding behind AA while sayin it ain't *. Then you ain't *. period.

Turning off crossplay does nothing when PC players just plug in a * input, move like a *, beam like Aceu. Not sure why in a COMPETITIVE shooter I have to defend the all skill no assistance stance. Why don't we just petition to allow electric bikes in the tour de france? Pitching machines in the MLB? Velcro gloves and football, because you know some can't catch?

@SWgeebz Only people don't don't understand the term "Competition" would condone automation. If you don't understand how automation works then I can understand your silly retort. Getting "gud" as you say has little to do with it. Get "gud" against a feature that isn't even human controlled?!

There probably should be some amount of aim assist. Otherwise, controller players would just lose. (Controller is just worse in most fields.)
The current strength might be too strong, I’m not sure, maybe it does need to be turned down. Definitely not off though.

@Fireskelet It is irrelevant how overtuned or not it is. It is automation! Automation has no place in competitive gaming. I don't even care if it sucks the fact that it is there is reason to raise against it...besides there are plenty of evidence and videos showing in what situations it is very effective and that then allows people to tailor their playstyle to take full advantage of it.

No worries though....like someone said the next tour de france winner will get to use an ebike...which is only pedal assist and not very good pedal assist so it's okay right?

@GRiPSViGiL I mean, first and foremost this is a game, and handicapping a good chunk of the playerbase will make the game unpopular.

Besides, even other competitive games like Overwatch have some aim assist.

@Sir_Named Doesn't mean PC gamers need to accept it.

I get it people want to play with friends and not everyone is on the same platform. Just don't call it a competitive game if some form of automation is allowed. Allow all automation, I mean they can't stop AutoHotKey scripts that remove recoil and we all have seen aimbots and wall hacks in PC gaming. It is comedy to me, you can't use this automation over here but you can use this automation here.

Do they even have cash prize official crossplay tournaments? I remember their being a lot of crying when consoles weren't included in the tournaments.
