my ban history shows no reason, field is blank
i was banned out of the blue, i loaded apex like usual and it said "the client's game account has been banned." not gonna lie, i was a bit taken back by this, so i went an started looking into it. when i first checked the website, there wasn't even a ban showing on there for a few days, i didn't even receive an email. i reached out to support and that's when it appeared. it makes me feel like that added it in their since i was asking about it. when i check the reason on their "my ban history" page, the reason field is completely blank. no specific rule, no explanation, nothing.
the only thing i can think of is i have been trying to recover my old xbox account that's linked to a legacy ea email (it's not even linked to my account, it's seperate). i was pretty persistent about it, but ea support basically denied me—i couldn’t recover it because they wanted specific info that i just can't remember since that account was created back in 2013. i’ve been playing apex since 2019 with no issues until now, so this all feels like it came out of nowhere.
i contacted ea support multiple times and either got no reply or was told someone would follow up—which never happened. it's been like 2 weeks since the last response by them. now i can't even get the option for live chat. i’m just at a loss for words because i also made some purchases not long before the ban, the ultimate pass, some exotic shards, and some apex coins for packs. i really want to be able to play on my account again, and if i can't do that i at least want a refund. honestly any path to an actual appeal, rather than the "dispute" button that is a dead-end loop.
has anyone else had this happen, where the ban reason is completely blank? any luck getting a real answer or resolution? just trying to figure out my options at this point.
