Saw the new Loba skin for the event - did the math... worked out to be roughly around $70 for just the one skin for Loba. I find it insane that with the state of Apex Legends at the moment, that rEAspawn can actually charge this amount of money for one skin. Especially when the game is very close to unplayable at the moment due to servers, dead audio, smurfs, hackers and cheaters and much much more. Robbery at its finest. Just depleting and immoral. Gross Respawn, gross.

Not just on Apex, but pretty much any game these days and in recent years. I still stand firm in the opinion that, myself and countless others, would spend a LOT more on in-game purchases if they were actually reasonably priced. I can't even imagine the revenue these companies would bring in.I think the problem is, there are plenty of kids using parents' money, or streamers with donation money that they don't care about spending, who simply don't care about value for money rendered, and keep paying the inflated prices, so why would they bother lowering them? I would have spent hundreds of dollars on Apex at this point, if prices were reasonable. There have been quite a lot of skins that I like, but there's no justification for the price, so I simply choose not to buy them.Don't even get me started on other games and their pricing, because it is most certainly not unique to Apex, and I could go on for days about this.I'm sure these games already make a ton of money from this stuff, but they are missing out on so much more, in my humble opinion...

@KelRiever Finally someone who can correctly value a piece of cosmetic in a video game. I have only bought a cosmetic pack for two games ever. Friday the 13th, where you got a Halloween outfit (in three different colours), for EVERY character in the game, for like 2.5 euros. And 3 packs for Conan, where the cosmetics also have properties within the game beyond just looking nice.Am I ever gonna buy an Apex skin at these hilarious prices? When the skin doesn't even give you higher armour value in the game, have a resale value, or whatever? No.For the life of me, I cannot understand how they earn so much money on this business model. It must mean that alot of people pay 2500 coins for these things. 😯

For someone at the moment that has no coins, who was interested in the 6000 Loba skin advertised with a one loot tick. And yes, if you have zero funds, then you have two options to purchase that particular sale, if you can even call it a sale. Either purchase the the higher apex coins to cover the 6000 which is almost $70. Or purchase the two smaller amounts to equal the 6000 and either one you choose works out to by just under $70 for the one loba skin. Oh yeah, and one loot tick, cant forget the one loot tick.

Just a thought that when we see a real Loba bikini skin in the store you know EA are officially giving up on Apex and milking the last money out before shutting it down XD

I'm not trying to argue in favor of Respawn's pricing, but how exactly did you arrive at $70? Or a you talking Canadian dollars or another country's currency?
As far as I'm seeing, even the bundle with 60 packs "only" costs under $50.
Or am I missing an upcoming Loba skin leak or something?

the 10 pack alone is literally $59.99 US plus tax $5.32 = $65.31, so yea. You might as well just buy an entire new game for that price or just keep playing to earn coin.

I think you are missing the $25 that comes without 60 packs.
But, you know what? That's still the price of an entire video game.
Skins should cost $1. For a premium and very popular game like Fortnite, like $3, if they do a star wars or marvel thing. And obviously, we are a long way from that.

@B3SERK What are you talking about? The price you're listing is for 6,700 coins, which is enough for the 60 pack (6,000 coins) and you have 700 coins left over.

The 10-pack bundle with the skin is 2,500 coins.

P.S., If you look at GG.deals, you may even find cheaper prices on Apex coins.

Again, I'm not saying I think the pricing is great, but at least you can buy cosmetic items directly instead of gambling on them. I personally hate that they keep making "bundles" with essentially worthless packs and bland weapon designs instead of just selling the skin for 1800 coins.

@ComicBookGuy2727 I don't like the use of the word sale here either, as it dosnt feel like a discounted sale. But it has 2 meanings, for "sale" and discounted "sale"
I prefer fortnite's sale method, actual cost with a strike through the cost and the discounted cost below, and the discounts are usually substantial.
