Opening packs after the event

I have a question regarding the collection event. In the time where it's online I'm in vacations with no possibility to play Apex.

So the question is if I let a Friend of Mine purchase all 24 packs and say to him that he should not Open him so I can open them myself. Could I still open them and get the heirloom when the event is already over?

@FelipeStinkt I wouldn't risk opening the packs after the event if I'm going to spend hundreds of dollars. Just let your friend open it or let him stream it so that you can watch. him do it for you.

As far as I know, you need to open those packs in time...
Once the time is over, you are no longer able to see the additional pack = heirloom set.
...Please don't be so negative.
It is normal act that we can't play in some events.
We need to look forward to another event. 🙂

@FelipeStinkt nope. This has been proven already by a similar issue last time where someone didn’t open then until after the event and didn’t get heirloom (obviously... it even said open during event).

So let your friend open all of them or else no heirloom

@FelipeStinktYou won't get the additional benefit i.e. the heirloom as it requires you to unlock everything during the event period.

You will, however, get event items from it even after event has finished as the loot pool is fixed for the packs
