Pretty upset how Heirlooms work

I've been spending money over time to you guys ever since the game came out in the hope that I would eventually get the Wraith kunai heirloom or even the Bloodhound one. But no, I got this incomplete Lifeline heirloom with no inspect animation. How can you just add Lifeline's heirloom set without completing it? Unacceptable... It doesn't help that I play Lifeline the least compared to Wraith and Bloodhound.

That begs the question: why isn't there some sort of token system for heirlooms? As you add more heirloom sets from future events the lower the chance is to get the one you want. Most players won't get lucky like me and eventually pay up. This is disgusting and I'm done with spending a single cent unless I get some sort of solution whether it be a complete refund for everything besides non apex pack purchases or the option to pick Wraith's or Bloodhound's heirloom. I know I'm ranting and some people will go so far to even call me a crybaby but this has to be addressed. I was willing to spend the money to get the heirloom.. I should be at least given what I want after spending so much...

Not expecting to much from EA or those top contributors here based on reviewing other posts similar to mine. Just ranting so I can get it out of my system and (never) play Apex again

  • I haven't received any heirloom pieces at all. I'm not upset about it whatever. You spend money and get cool stuff. You're not obligated to make purchases, but it's appreciated. You're not entitled to anything however just because you spend X amount of money. It's just luck of the draw. Maybe if providing feedback on being able to buy heirloom pieces would be better instead of demanding them. It is unfortunate when you do miss out on pieces, but should get bent out of shape when it's luck of the draw. Just ask to see someone look into it.You express your feelings about your main, however, you seen like you don't enjoy using other characters. They all help each other in some way. That's what's great about they individual roles. Learn to adapt and overcome with other characters.

  • @Th3Extreme the OP kinda has a point tho. Both the Bloodhound and the Lifeline heirlooms were available for purchase for less than what he spent trying to get the Wraith one, which as of i know has always been apex pack exclusive.

However at the end of the day, the game is free to play so they can pretty much charge whatever they want for cosmetic items. I always thought the prices were a bit on the salty side but from time to time ive spent money to get something cool and support the development of the game.

I never had 500$ lying around to throw for a videogame knife but i still have the change to get it, even tho im not counting on it 😆

@Th3Extreme I know I'm not obligated to make purchases but I believe I should be at least entitled to the heirloom I want, considering it's basically behind a $500 paywall. Over the game's lifetime I've chipped in some of my wallet with the idea that I would get an heirloom after some time. I did get an heirloom but rather an incomplete one and is also for the legend I play the least. I never specified that I main one legend; I play who I want to play when I feel like it. I didn't just demand for heirlooms if that's what you think I'm saying. I also mentioned the concept of a token system. I will ask if something can be done but as I said before, based on other posts similar to this nothing will be down cause it "can't" be. I've gotten over it and I'll play Lifeline more to make the most out of it.

  • Maybe this something that can change for the future. If there's enough people that want it and provide feedback for getting specific heirlooms, then maybe something can happen. @EA_Blueberry or @EA_Darko could look into it and talk to the other devs. I know the CM for AL is cool. Still haven't talked to her personally, but from what I hear she is and really speaks up for the community or communicates just like any other EA employee.

Yeah actually I suggested this a while back when Bloodhound's heirloom was revealed during Iron Crown event.

A lot of people here will come out the woodworks with the same old "but it's a F2P game you cannot complain about anything cause F2P" but frankly, all other F2P games use a token system for the ahem... highest priced items.

Try to ignore that. It doesn't make sense.

@Wingmannedbro Actually, a lot of freemium games avoid giving you exactly what you want, especially when it's a legendary or exclusive item. They guarantee high tier drops or provide a higher chance for a specific item to drop from those packs. They lose some of their hooks on you when you get what you want, then maybe lose you when your most desired item doesn't shine like new anymore.
  • @Skyrajj I am about to spend like 500$ on packs to try and get the wraith heirloom set but now I’m scared weather I will get it especially now with the pathfinder and lifeline it’s only like a 25% chance and I wonder if I should try to push my luck or not
  • @Skyrajj I won’t buy one until the prices are reasonable and they have a different system to get them. I’m not going Gamble on event crates and hope to complete it, which also forces me to buy a bunch of skins I don’t want.

    Don't.

This game is being neglected and ignored by it's devs. Like you already said, your odds are very very slim. And you're definitely not going to drop 2K on packs for a game with the shelf life of a bottle of milk.

    You'll regret it.
