Aimassist/aimbots, what’s the difference - in both cases a «robot» is helping you hit the target.
That needs to happen within games were the audience require itI don’t give a damn about any streamer. Many of these are the Lance Armstrongs of this business.
With controller you get a severe aim assist, I know and have tried. Certainly don’t expect any nuthugging controller players to agree or admit, but it’s the case.ha hah a, i won my last game too...somewhere in dallas, gud people...
Does Apex do the same thing as Fortnite on PC? I will agree that using a mouse to controller transceiver in a game like Fortnite is basically soft core aimbotting, and it's noticable when FN players do this.
But in FN at least controller players don't win tourneys and only barely have a presence in competitive FN events. MKB still dominates. I play FN with MKB since it's is way way way easier and better than controller.
Dunno about Apex on PC with controller tho. Come next summer ill give it a try to see if I notice a difference between PS4 and PC.
@Wingmannedbro From what I understand the controller assist in FN is very strong atm and will likely be nerfed. But don’t take my word for it, not really a FN player.
I know several people who went from console to PC (apex w/controller) and they abdolutely love it.
I’ve mentioned it before and it got me a ton of diss 🙂 I always play premade ranked, and when we’re one short we ask my 8 year old niece to play. We do better with him than without because of the ruthless close combat accuracy provided by his controller

But mouse already has aim assistance by means of vastly superior technology. If you cannot outperform controller with a mouse regardless of aim assist you're just not good in the first place. I'm sorry to say but the data is already collected on this issue and the verdict is in.
Controller doesn't stand a chance against superior the speed, precision and predictability of mouse aim. Controller gets completely dumpstered in any game where the two mix. Fortnite demonstrates that even with powerful aim assist they still do not stand any chance.
If you get out skilled by an ordinary controller player with mouse you lose because you're garbage. If you lost to a player like Daltoosh or ZeusRessurected, it's because they're pro's.
I cannot believe there are actually people who argue that controller beats mouse.
@Wingmannedbro Wow, such a butthurt reaction.
That verdict is ancient and has no merit today.
That’s why controller assist has been tweaked considerably on PC so that you can compete against mouse. Unfortunately it’s tweaked too much and close combat is now a case of a human person vs a robot.
I’m just as much pro as I’m garbage. Just looking for a fair playing ground.

It's a matter of fact that controller players get destroyed in Fortnite competitions and casual alike, close combat, at sniping, midrange, explosives use, building, literally everything MKB destroys controller.
And FN aim assist is much stronger than any other game. If players cannot win with controller on Fortnite they cant win in any other game. But apparently i'm "butthurt" but who's really butthurt here? I just decided to play mouse and keyboard to compete with mouse and keyboard, and if I get killed by a controller player once in a blue moon then gg. I wish that player good luck cause he or she will need it when playing against MKB.
Apparently you're so traumatized you got killed by a controller player you're asking for segregation from a playerbase that plays with a crippling disadvantage and you go around calling others butthurt. Are you even hearing yourself? You acting ridiculous.
P.s. the PS4 and Xbox players who hopped on PC recently are only the very very good players who went to PC to play in the world series tournament.
If you lost to one of them, it's because they're very good at it. If controller is so OP as you say it is, why don't you give it a try and see for yourself?
You don't because controller is hardmode and you know it.
I felt like a cheater playing with controller, I have tried and it’s broken af. I’m a noob controller player and do just as well as with MK which I have been using forever.
Fortnite isn’t a very strong example due to the TTK in Apex being really high.
Autotracking with 0ms response time can never be beat by a human/pro who aims himself.
Those are the facts and it’s a shame to have competetive games being tainted this way.
@Wingmannedbro controller without aim assist is hardmode.
