Have you tried lowering the polling rate of your mouse? I had mine at the default 1000 and lowered it to 250 and it feels a bit smoother when I'm aiming.

@dynam1ck  There are occasions when people try a myriad of things and completely miss the obvious, asmodeous  was just trying to be helpful mate.

Have You manipulated in the past the HPET, maybe? If yes, try to revert it all back with:

bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock
bcdedit /deletevalue tscsyncpolicy
bcdedit /deletevalue disabledynamictick

yeah with 1709 but not with 21h2.

Thanks for the vote of solidarity there. 

With the wall of text of the million attempts to solve their own problem I was suggesting a simple suggestion that could have been possibly overlooked.

There are so many times people say hey my computer is broke and will not turn on can you help me? The First question to ask is your computer connected to power? Obvious, yes, solves many problems though as people sometimes forget the simple things like that.

I really do hope that you can solve your problem. Considering all that you have tried and the difference of daytime play and night time play that you have stated, your problem could absolutely have nothing to do with your mouse, but rather more to do with server load, internet load etc.

Tried 100 different mousemats bud, logitech, razer, steelseries.

hardpads make movement a bit faster but aiming feels more sluggish because hardpads are harder to control then clothpads.

Tried running apex in windowed mode, no u wont get the input lag because we have mpo now. Search it.

But running it in windowed mode made it so much smoother, the only downside is that even tho it says 144fps for 1 second it starts to lag (stuttering) then its gone.

if anyone could try this out in firing range too? To see i’m not spacing lol.

My guess is that this game is handling fullscreen not as good then other games.

I have been running the game in windowed mode for ages because as you say it runs a bit smoother for some reason. IDK know why but anything that is not against the ToS that will help the game run smoother for me or anyone else is just one big plus in my eyes.

Sorry I did not suggest this to you before as I just did not think about that because I have been doing that since like the middle of season 1  

I tried running every game i play in windowed and they all see too feel smoother, aiming is so much better but the only thing i noticed in apex when u are in windowed is that the framerate dips for a second even tho in right top corner it always says ar 144fps even when that happens, might be a bug or something @Asmodeus566 

Also noticed that running any game in fs it feels like everything is zoomed in, like low fov but thats prob monitor related then game related. In windowed it isn’t zoomed in. I have the aoc 24g2u and in the osd there is a option aspect ratio its set to wide and i cant change it at all. 

Is this only occurring in Apex? Then there is your answer if it does.

To me, it runs bad regardless of platform or hardware or time of day anyway, so bad game whenever I play it.

Some are sensitive to it and some are not, hence why some complain and some don't - some people are just unaware to certain issues but praise the game regardless.

I always notice Apex's everything is trash when I come from playing Fortnite ( Apex feels cheap).

Makes perfect sense then. This game is notoriously bad regarding performance. Guys like Shroud instantly feel it, as he has stated in some of his streams, I feel it too. Nothing to be done about it except adapt which I am exceedingly growing against. In 2024 things should work correctly imo, if Fortnite can do it so can they.

And don't get me started on the quality of gunplay in this game. It is absolute garbage. Some would disagree but coming from Destimy or Fortnite or even Doom it is absolute truth.
