Re: Apex Legends Keeps Picking CST Servers, How Do I Change This Behavior?

@Popa2caps

Hey there!

Have you tried selecting a different datacenter at the menu when the game loads up?

    Yep. That's also kind of the issue. Currently everytime I load Apex Legends it's Saint Louis, so I change it to New York.

    It should automatically default you to the server closest to where you're located. Are you not located in those two regions?

    Oh, my bad I should have elaborated my current timezone. I'm CST (St. Louis), but I don't want the servers to automatically select this as my default server.

    My question would be: How would I go about making Apex Legends select New York as my perferied server location. Do I change a INI file, Contact ISP, Change a router setting?

    I want New York even though it has a 1ms difference because I get better players then the ladder.

    There isn't a way to force it to always default to a preferred one. That would be a nice quality of life feature for the future, completely understand why when you want to switch back every time you load it up. We'll keep an eye out for others that would like this too.
