@BaldWraithSimp If they're trying to complete their BP it does cuz it'll take longer to do if you keep leaving games.

Let's say some of your BP challenges is do 125 DMG with an SMG, get 2 knocks with a certain legend, & 5000 DMG with an AR & you only needed a couple hundred points to get it & go up 1 or 2 lvls.You did all that in a match but then you got mad & left. None of counted so now you have to do all that ish over again plus you lost XP & whatever other stats gained AND the leaving counted as a death!

You really think most players who rage quit wouldn't think twice knowing it would take them twice or 3 times as long to complete a BP they spent money on? And their K/D would tank?

    @Lord_Scorpion34 But how do you know the leaver owns the BP? Maybe he is a whale who bought all the levels? You are assuming that he is trying to complete BP.

    Time penalty affects anyone and everyone, you can't just weave your way around it. The more you leave, the more penalty you get. It restricts players from playing altogether so it will have more impact, one less leaver that you will be queued with.

    @BaldWraithSimpBow does one buy a BP level? Thought you could only buy up to 25? And time penalty barely works in Ranked. I've seen people leave that. But I've mentioned what should happen to repeat offenders with that too.

    And my suggestion still affects everyone. Wiping out XP, match achievements, & quitting counts as a death will take it's toll. Maybe not the 1st couple of times, but anyone below 500 will definitely get tired of leaving matches cuz they won't be advancing level wise which also means they won't be getting tokens or packs.

    @Lord_Scorpion34 You can buy up to 100 lvls with coins. I have come across maybe 1 or 2 leavers in last 2 seasons of ranked in Plat lobbies. And it stacks after 3 daily resets.

    Don't take it the wrong way but your 'XP' suggestion is a half-measure, it has too many ifs and buts. It works but only to some extent. I would rather that leavers get timed out so others can play in peace.

    I don't see any point to this debate so I will see my out of this discussion. We all have our minds made up.

    Welcome to Apex Legends, where you get rewards to leave.

    Sorry, this has been the ethic of the game since day 1, leave whenever you want.  I've learned it's good even to leave ranked games often. 

    They will never make any kind of incentive to keep playing their game more than leaving it, so just leave all games when you see someone else leaving, or just whenever you want to for your own selfish fun.
