@RustedYoda The core game itself wasn't that bad but the state of it now and the way it's being run definitely is. Also people can spend their money on what they like but by adding to their coffers without getting these serious issues addressed compounds the problem over the long term.
If they had a loss in revenue as large as the uproar over the state of the game they would have been forced to sort some of these major issues out by now but by all means keep spending YOUR money as you see fit cause they're not getting another dime out of me as to do so IMO is stupid and blissfully ignorant to what a competent, caring bunch of AAA devs can achieve.
- @apostolateofDOOM sorry to say but most actually still enjoy the game 🙂 so there is no uproar towards the state of the game. And yeah idk whats your problem with this game but other than a few issues like footsteps the state of the game isn't as bad as you or others make it out to be. And it isn't stupid or ignorant to spend money on something you enjoy , and wow shocker , ppl enjoy this game.

You think they're bringing in crossplay because they care about you playing with friends?? It's a necessity and the only way they can maintain multiple modes in the not to distant future because the game is literally bleeding players right now and for good reason.
Competitive scene is dead, ranked is completely broken (due in part to declining players), audio issues, poor stability (servers, netcode, w/e), lack of official communication except developers openly insulting and trolling their community on their personal twitter after IC fiasco on reddit, slow content and even slower fixes to bugs. Want me to go on? cause we could probably be here a while.

There are currently 1,055,857 Players Online this is normal for apex legends in its current time. The same amount has been here for months without changing but very minimal numbers. - @E9ine_AC Console is alive and well but how many of those are PC?

If not, how could you hope to see the trend.- @apostolateofDOOM That i could not tell you I have no problems like most do on the forums. Sure some mornings que times may be little lower. SBMM has its flaws. I would not expect a company who is actually working from home to be able to do what they could in office.
While im not giving them excuses for why it has not been changed i can also understand why. All games have their bugs nothing is perfect nor is any game. I will say other then mornings i have zero problems getting instant ques most the time.
As for being placed with low levels i expect it. I play to have fun if myself and lower level had some fun i call it a win. As for the team mates I at times would get in ranked well i cant explain that other then SBMM has to be broken in some form to allow it. - @hhnbbfggty66 Heh numbers are pure facts. Even if most are console the numbers are there and have been for months without changing. To say the game is dying is implying that numbers are being reduced of players walking away. We do not see that we see a even number of players most days. So the population not changing at all but maybe 1000 people here and there shows it is indeed not dying.
- @apostolateofDOOM how tf would you know all of pc left, last i checked a lot of pc streamers are still playing and finding lobbies asap. Also a lot of ppl still play ranked, hey youre whole argument is ¨"i dont like the game so its dead" and as someone stated above it has a healthy playerbase so if you hate the game so much then stop playing i. Btw im not telling you to leave the forums at all
- @apostolateofDOOM also if the game has been dead for a long time why did s5 have the biggest launch. And Shiv and Diego arent the only big apex streamers.
And sure go on nitpicking on a freaking video game that doesn't affect anyone. @apostolateofDOOM Out of interest how long is your average queue time to enter a game of apex in pubs and also ranked?
As you know I'm on console so I can literally only gauge this from the anecdotal evidence found on this forum lol. 😛

And I have zero knowledge of PC playerbase btw. Only that ps4 seems fine. I can even find games at 730 am right away. @RustedYoda Don't take any of my views personally as they're not specifically directed at you but don't think the only problem this game has is a bit of audio as that's pretty naïve. Also if you enjoy the game and you spend money then i'm happy for you but it's not something i will any more.
It's not a case of ''i don't like the game so it's dead''.. i have seen a graph somewhere (actually been looking for it since last reply and i'll post when i find it) but it showed a huge reduction in PC players compared to consoles. If we have such a healthy amount of players then why are preds being mixed all the way down to bronze? Or why am i being matched with the same players each day in various ranks not my own. As i said earlier, take away a handful of known streamers whose viewers would follow them anywhere and you'll see the lack of interest. Fyi i don't use twitch views as a gauge as it's to easily manipulated in various ways but it was brought up earlier.
Your argument of everyone enjoying the game in it's current state and happily spending money on it is wrong as my own opinion, many friends, competitive players, comments online on other formats including this forum have stated they're not prepared to spend more till these things are addressed. You can't have 2 million concurrent players, have half leave with a good portion being vocal about these issues and saying that all the players remaining are happy... 😛
As to biggest launch S5, we have a massive increase in repeated smurf accs compared to previous seasons (still rising) and with the introduction of Quests will give the statistic of higher player engagement which they have already said.
@MandatoryIDtag Not long but i know i get put into servers other than the one selected (London) and have ranks completely mixed often having sub level 100 golds in diamond.
Just to clarify, i'm not saying PC is dead or even Apex as a whole is dying but RANKED PC EU is.

- @apostolateofDOOM i totally respect not liking the game and not want to spend money on it and trust me ik this game has more issues than just footstep audio but the positives for me outweigh the negatives. And yeah im not saying everyone is happy with the game rn but what ive seen is that after the armor revert, a lot of the community is happy.
Also may i ask why you thing comp on pc is dead? - @RustedYoda I just had a bronze teammate in Plat lobby. I don't like the ranked RP design tbh. Yeah, Apex runs better than other BRs for me but some issues are longstanding.
About the armor revert, nobody asked for that in the first place. Good thing Devs realized their mistake sooner and acted on it quickly for the sake of players. @RustedYoda Well ranked is the competitive mode and as i said earlier there aren't that many top tier players EU otherwise we wouldn't have such mixed ranks constantly. So it's either declining ranked players or ranked is completely broken. Neither bodes well for the comp scene.
Active player participation from USA is roughly 38.92% so i assume it's much better over there but they server jump to EU anyway.. Many players have spoken of the poor pay out for ALGS. Think someone calculated that even if you won one a year, after splitting it you would earn more in a job at McDonalds. Not very lucrative for an e sport and many putting their eggs into streaming instead.
Also with crashes at tournaments, initial poor legend + weapon balancing (granted it has improved), general poor stability and/or reliability and atrocious audio. Respawn have a reputation now of not getting these things fixed asap (for whatever reason) and not something people want to bank their income on.
Not to mention lowering the skill ceiling with well over a handful of updates now.
@apostolateofDOOM You're 100% being put into queues other than London server mate. I was literally talking to Vernon and Ghost about this the other day lol, we just get chucked straight into EU lobbies. I think warzone/fortnite is probably much more popular in the UK than apex is. 😛
- @BaldWraithSimp Oh the bronze thing might have been a match making error cuz i dont think that they arent enough players in plat/gold to in any region fill a lobby. And the revert kinda proves that if theres a huge amount of the player base wanting something the devs listen (atleast some times)
