To clarify the wingman does have drop off.....but the drop off is pretty ridiculous so I can't disagree with your points.
That being said, it's not a weapon people just pick up and are good with unless they're just extremely good at FPS games anyway. So I mean its a weapon that rewards skill, which to me is how things should be.
On a side note....the OG wingman was far more oppressive than the version we see now.
yea S1 was horrific with nothing but wingman/R99's or 301's, I do not miss those days, I am upset that I've seen my fave guns get nerfed just when theyre kicking *, Longbow, Hemlock then L-star, theyre all pretty limp wristed now, I am enjoying the turbo havocs right now but i reckon that will not last long, the top 1% pred's will whine and it will suck again.
But they never really touched the Wingman, yea the Mods got changed but they never really changed the mechanics of it after the first change. I mean a pistol should not be accruate after 25-30m without epic modding, how about nerfing the range of it to drop off epically after 30m but give them a Gold Mod for 100m called Range Booster?
let me ask you this if you had a long range battle to face, which fully kitted out gun would you rather have; The Longbow or Wingman?
