@Gabrielmojo26 Woah, that's dedication! I don't think I've ever actually taken an Xbox controller apart. I definitely dismantled several PS2 controllers back in the day, via violent methods, Lmao!
Baby steps are how it's done. When I first got mine, I pretty much only used one paddle for my jumping. Then I started getting into the habit of crouching and doing slide jumps with them, and then reloading. Now, I hardly touch the face buttons, but I've been on an Elite controller since the dropped Series 1. It also really helped me to force myself to use the paddles for all menu actions as well, like @hayhor mentioned, so the muscle memory locked in faster.
Have you messed with the interchangeable toggle sticks? I ended up going with a shorter domed one for my left stick, and a taller concave one for my right stick. I have been thinking about trying other ones for my right stick again though, because my aim has felt off. Maybe I need to bump down to a shorter one again
@Kyldenar That definitely makes sense. I'm about to be a kill stealer for a wee bit XD
@BigMacAttack8u I tried playing claw grip back in the Halo 3 days, but it hurts my hands. I don't see how people play like that! My gf plays claw, and I've had friends over the years that do, but I never could. I used the bumper jumper layout back then
