I do like that you need to do more damage to increase armor level now. I think should be more.
The storm is too weak. Even on 3rd/4th ring closure you can take time to loot some deathboxes, outheal for long period and even have time to make a cup of tea and check your email.

I feel like they looked at the maps size and thought "hey, we'll help them out by reducing ring damage".
What they forgot though was that you can literally just run in a straight line or use one of the obscenely tall jump towers to get straight to the next circle due to the lack of obstacles, thus rendering the ring a non threat.
The only ring phase they did get correct was round 2, being knocked revived and unable to pop a syringe was a little bit brutal, the following rings should have remained a serious threat however.
