Before there was the self revive knockdown which the pros didn't like. But maybe there could be items that you could deploy when about to revive to make it faster/safer/more effective?
I know there is still the gold knockdown, but I mean consumeables.
There is Gibbys dome, or Newcastle's wall or movable shield, Lifelines drone, Bangs smoke, and of course Mirage is invisible.
I have even seen creative ways to use Wraiths portal, Octanes jump pad and Ash's portal to do what you suggest.
Do we really need more consumables to clutter the already cluttered loot pool? No I do not think so right now.

Say it louder for the people in the back! You can't maintain a healthy population skill curve in a free to play game if you don't also cater to the casual and new crowds that will make up the majority of your player base!
If the game was only for the top 1% of players, it would be a digital NFL that was only for spectators, not a free to play game.
