My bad everyone, I was trying to make a feedback post, but made it in the discussion section. I'm basically asking Respawn to add the functionality for "press to reload" to not quit working when close to a downed person.
I'm ending this one and making a new one later about this. Sorry about that.

It's odd I asked you if you use a controller?
@Popa2capsYour best options are:
1. Change bindings to “Tap to use, hold to reload” which allows you to be behind doors and reload, reloading before empty is best done by jumping and reloading in the air so that you don’t accidentally revive
2. Empty the mag and reload using the trigger instead of the action button
They eventually need to include fully custom bindings though. Halo Infinite is doing this after decades of non-customizable bindings and it’s great.

Iv'e already moved some of the bindings. I use circle to punch rather than the right joystick down as I was constantly accidentally hitting it while shooting which isn't particularly useful (although the opponent probably thought it was funny).
That's the easiest change.
I've had the same problem BTW - "Yes, I want to revive you but kinda busy fighting right now...." <goes to reload> <starts reviving>...
While we are on the topic I wish they'd get rid of that second delay when you grab a banner where you hold it front of your face and stare at while you are being assailed from all sides... geez...
