Season 6 is the pinnacle of 3rd Partying
I said it and I meant it. It's really bad this season.
Season 6 is the absolute pinnacle of the 3rd partying paradigm. If the goal of the adjustments was to somehow create an environment where 3rd partying isn't as easy or where the team being 3rd partied isn't at an automatic disadvantage then Respawn has definitely accomplished the opposite of that goal. In fact, its not even fair to call it 3rd partying anymore; it's an absolute cluster @#&$.
Perfect example from tonight, my team and I started a fight at the cage, within less than a minute 3 other squads ran in on foot and 2 more dropped in from a nearby jumptower. There was no reasonable way to come out of that situation alive unless we were the last team to join in and mop it all up.
I have played just about all the other BRs out there except the phone versions and I can tell you, at least from my own perspective, that I have never experienced 3rd partying to this degree with this level of frequency. I rarely can finish one team-fight without at least 2 other teams around to be hidden from while we try to heal up and get ready for the next one.
I really feel that the use-time on healing items needs to be reduced globally. Players move too fast and we're all dying too quick to justify having the use-timer on these items remain the same as they were prior to the reduction in TTK. TBH, the whole game needs to be reworked at this point because you've spent multiple seasons tuning everything around the previous TTK and values.
Or, you know, you could be sensible and just revert these changes instead of trying to spice things up by taking a dump on it.
