@damsonwhufndthis Yea, that's my problem. Half the time, in the middle of shooting at one team, it doesn't click in my head when I hear the 3rd party alert

@dSKyNafinchinthat sounds like a you problem lol,
surrounding situation awareness is one of the key aspects in virtually any shooter
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero (Retired)@damsonwhufndthis Oh, I'm fully aware. It's not an awareness issue, but a hearing issue. I've been to too many concerts and listened to too much music at super high volume through my years. When I'm actively shooting at someone, I have a hard time even hearing my buddies callouts in our party chat. I could slide the audio mixer a bit more toward party chat, but then I wouldn't hear all the footsteps, so it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. My 3rd party alert is typically when I get shot XD I tend to keep a close eye on my surroundings (in games and real life), so I usually know when there's another squad.
Putting it in the kill feed would help me quite a bit. I can always see the kill feed in my periphery, so I wouldn't miss the intel- damsonwhufndthis4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@dSKyNafinchinhave you tried not having music on super high volume sometimes?
I listen to music at maximum volume possible too but I know when enough is enough...
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero (Retired)@damsonwhufndthis I spent too much time in bars and at festivals growing up in Germany (Rock am Ring multiple times haha). I didn't have control of the volume. But also, I'm just getting old. I've always listened to my music at higher volume though, whether it be headphones or in my car. The damage is done, at this point. Lemme find out they do ear replacements though!!
