I don't get stats from having been a Mixtape/Control LTM player for 7 seasons. All I know was that my season win rate from a bit of ranked and pubs this season, as Thunderdome ruined Mixtape and forced you to go somewhere else, was around 5%. Then came the proper BR mode, Straight Shot, and after two weeks of that my win rate had jumped to around 11%. Amazing what happens when teammates can't grief your game and purposely tank your stats on the jump.
As I've said before, matchmaking has worked better the last 2-3 seasons. Teammates are still mostly of questionable quality, but the MM will allow you to carry in more games than previously. It's still exhausting and you have to literally break your sticks, as you have to run around GR and do 18 kills or do +18 kills on TDM, to secure the win.
You still get games where MM puts you in a tank fight armed with two nerf guns, but they are fewer.
