Solo Mode aka No Fill Mode is coming in Season 8. Maybe.

@bosourd Fortnite has it as an option and options tend to be inclusive, allowing more choice for players. Some nights I dispair at the rate of dc and suicidal hot droppers. 

@hayhor yes I'm sure if they do it they will do solo mode in duo's, I was thinking more a duo's premade team in normal trio, without the third rando. 

Solo mode is here right now. It’s how most people play Apex

And why would they do that, instead of just give in us a Solos mode? This is just wrong on all level have no sense at all.

Good luck getting new players with that mode. Your current player base will start dissapearing.

Apex was so popular, because they hit the top notch with the TTK, top notch with the movement, and of course we got legends with ability.

But they pretty much messed up everything else. Bad servers, bad anti-cheat, thousands of cheaters, broken audio, terrible servers, terrible SBMM, terrible balance from day 1.

Not wanting to add a true solos mode is just a stubbornness.

@hayhor I just looked at the list for Fortnite setup.

Apart from normal Solo,

duo's trios squads (4) and team rumble (20)  all have a "don't fill" squad option.

Arena (their ranked) has a solo, duo and trio mode, but no option to "don't fill" on duo and trio as these are for premade. They don't have a 4 squad arena. There are no rewards for arena just entrance to compete in different level competitions. 

@Lord_Scorpion34 that's an interesting point and one youngtree expounded further: what if everybody in a lobby goes solo. Will there still be a 20 team limit, making it a 20 player game?

Going beyond that to loads of players doing it and that would drive up the server costs for those games by a factor if 3, with no extra returns. Of course you would have to subtract the costs from that of the usual solo or duo squads one gets put in in normal trio games to get the true extra cost. 😃

Or will it simply be like Fortnite and fill the lobby with X number of squads?
