I will say this. Either it being you on the account or someone else the account breached the terms of service. They have a lot of logs in place that can back up their choice made. Something clearly showed on their end that the account breached the TOS. They will also not accept any proof or videos from users. Their logs show everything they need to see.
Beyond those two things, and a few unlucky server issues, I can't think of anything that I did that was out of ordinary.
Wireless mouse? Self build PC, that sometimes goes a bit weird on me when I bring it out of sleep?
Sure as heck isn't my stats or win rate.
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@BinkDeBook I can say I have a self built pc I also have friends with the same name on console as origin or steam. Steam allows you to pick any name in the game you want. So someone naming themself say E9ine_AC is very very possible and could display 2 of me. So I cant see how either of those would trip it. Most my friends use wireless mouses and controllers. One being xbox another ps4 controllers. So I would not think those would cause it either. I am not to sure what could of thrown a false flag if it is one. But a lot of programs tied to computers and such get flagged and cleared most of the time.

Okay so I keep stating I suck at this game.. and I don't cheat. So enjoying seeing all of my seasons stats (Season 5 to Season 8) and my character stats. And tell me how someone who is cheating could play this badly. My main are Loba and Rampart.
Let's start off with Season 5, 6, 7 and 8 stats:
In case you think I even played much ranked:
I'll toss all the characters into the next post

My character's with stats:
- 5 years ago@BinkDeBook Cheating doesn't have anything to do with having amazing stats. Someone who sucks can try a few times because they're tired of sucking or think that they won't get caught.
They can DDoS other players or cause problems in matches because they're bored or upset.
Also, I'm going to give you a few other things that can get you banned depending on how you use them:
VPN
Smurfs
Also, if you run in a league group with players who DDoS the servers, and this happens repeatedly, the TOS states that you are banned as well as them because of being in the group. This is for repeated, deliberate grouping with cheaters, of course, not just solo queuing into a group with people doing whatever that you don't have a way of knowing about. - 5 years ago@LaughingSharko Nice moving goal posts here. First - it's play for a bunch of seasons, don't just be a cheater padding stats. Now it's run with a group of people who DDoS the server, when I've said I only play with my son, and everything else is PUGs.
You mention VPNs, and claim earlier that you think people use those so they can cheat and then claim there account is hacked to get it back. Yet I've clearing commented about that.
Then its smurfing... Which usually means playing on a different account to pad easy stats. But we can clearly see how my normal stats god.
So again... My point is, I ended up on a couple of PUGs where I got DDoS on some server. I still think it was this event where I got banned for... I.e. being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Which I'm sure if it happened to you, you'd be complaining up the wazou about not cheater... And image when you run into someone treating you the same way you are treating me. Would you be willing to keep having a civil discussion would them? Or would you keep going on and blasting them in the same way, when stuck on the other side of the coin?
I'll keep claiming my innocence, and providing information, but since the ToS doesn't actually look at stats or this type of stuff, and only seems to look at if there is a clear hack of the account, there doesn't seem to be much I can do. - 5 years ago@BinkDeBook I simply was giving you some ideas of what you did that TOS banned you for. So that you can avoid it in the future on a different account. It's basically up to you to avoid breaking the rules. I'm not saying you DDoS'd the servers yourself. However, TOS also isn't going to permaban you for "being in the wrong place at the wrong time." Remember, you were permabanned, not merely suspended. That doesn't happen for an "oopsie,"
- 5 years ago@LaughingSharko Sorry if you believe that. As I've said wasn't doing any of that, and the old thing I can guess is being unlucky. But you keep believing what you want. But when I first came over and commented it was, everyone is always guilty, and yet I keep seeing more and more of people with similar stories.. How many are true - no idea. But I'm still here saying I got permabanned, didn't do anything, and can't get it fixed as of yet.
And why they heck would I do something stupid like DDoS, when I hate when it occurs? - EA_Mako5 years ago

Hey folks,
Just to be clear, the Terms of Service team does have full access to all records to determine why an action was taken on an account.
While accounts being compromised from another location is one of the more common situations in these appeals, it's certainly not the only one, and the TOS team is able to determine if other activity on an account led to actions being taken instead. The reason we allow for multiple appeals is to let a different pair of of eyes take a look at the records to see if an error was made in applying the original action, which does include checking more than just whether or not the account was compromised.
Additionally, let's please keep things civil when people are trying to get clarification or guidance. Without having access to our records to see for sure what happened, speculating whether someone may or may not have cheated rarely helps a conversation along so it's generally best to avoid assumptions leading to accusations without the full knowledge of what took place.
That said, while the TOS team does review our records each time an appeal is placed, the specifics of what they detected are generally not able to be shared, as that information would be extremely beneficial to others out there that are looking to circumvent the detection methods we have in place.
As they've completed multiple reviews and we won't be able to share any further information besides what they've already provided in the appeals or provide a different answer via the forums, I am going to be locking this thread. Thanks everyone.
