You mention VPNs, and claim earlier that you think people use those so they can cheat and then claim there account is hacked to get it back. Yet I've clearing commented about that.
Then its smurfing... Which usually means playing on a different account to pad easy stats. But we can clearly see how my normal stats god.
So again... My point is, I ended up on a couple of PUGs where I got DDoS on some server. I still think it was this event where I got banned for... I.e. being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Which I'm sure if it happened to you, you'd be complaining up the wazou about not cheater... And image when you run into someone treating you the same way you are treating me. Would you be willing to keep having a civil discussion would them? Or would you keep going on and blasting them in the same way, when stuck on the other side of the coin?
I'll keep claiming my innocence, and providing information, but since the ToS doesn't actually look at stats or this type of stuff, and only seems to look at if there is a clear hack of the account, there doesn't seem to be much I can do.
- 5 years ago@LaughingSharko Sorry if you believe that. As I've said wasn't doing any of that, and the old thing I can guess is being unlucky. But you keep believing what you want. But when I first came over and commented it was, everyone is always guilty, and yet I keep seeing more and more of people with similar stories.. How many are true - no idea. But I'm still here saying I got permabanned, didn't do anything, and can't get it fixed as of yet.
And why they heck would I do something stupid like DDoS, when I hate when it occurs? - EA_Mako5 years ago

Hey folks,
Just to be clear, the Terms of Service team does have full access to all records to determine why an action was taken on an account.
While accounts being compromised from another location is one of the more common situations in these appeals, it's certainly not the only one, and the TOS team is able to determine if other activity on an account led to actions being taken instead. The reason we allow for multiple appeals is to let a different pair of of eyes take a look at the records to see if an error was made in applying the original action, which does include checking more than just whether or not the account was compromised.
Additionally, let's please keep things civil when people are trying to get clarification or guidance. Without having access to our records to see for sure what happened, speculating whether someone may or may not have cheated rarely helps a conversation along so it's generally best to avoid assumptions leading to accusations without the full knowledge of what took place.
That said, while the TOS team does review our records each time an appeal is placed, the specifics of what they detected are generally not able to be shared, as that information would be extremely beneficial to others out there that are looking to circumvent the detection methods we have in place.
As they've completed multiple reviews and we won't be able to share any further information besides what they've already provided in the appeals or provide a different answer via the forums, I am going to be locking this thread. Thanks everyone.
