The new map is horrible

Yeah, largely agree. Heard so much positive about this new map on Twitch, and then when you actually drop there you're like... okay? All POI's look more or less the same. I can't tell any part of the map apart. Except for the dark noisy big bubble POI thing. Whereas on KC and WE you clearly feel; "okay, I'm going from Repulsor to Map Room", as the structures there are wildly different from one another. Here it's just some clunky huge structure, full of dead ends, or tiny small houses with like 4 loot items (and never a weapon) in them. And then you have to run for 15 seconds to find another small house with 4 loot items in it. Basically every POI feels like Bunker and Train Yard: No loot.
And the Trident... yeah, at least WE will be Trident free. Just too bad one has to wait 12 days for WE. But of course as map rotation. *sigh*
I do like the map but it's a bit 'messy' for me. In other maps it's easy to envisage individual areas but this one is more one continuous flow. I guess I will get used to it.

@hayhorSadly, I was playing the Olympus map. But okay, I look forward to see these places you refer to, haven't seen them yet. Granted, did only play a few games yesterday and one game today, as sbmm gave me two Xbox noobs (lvl 25 and 28), who landed with two full squads, despite me warning them about it, and then proceeded to die in 15 seconds. So I left the game and put on Borderlands instead.

I am literally shocked so many people hate this map. I will complain about SBMM and lackluster battle passes until I am blue in the face, BUT this map is gorgeous and plays really well.
To the people who hate this map, just remember that this forum was full of people who hated Worlds Edge when it first released— I was one of them. Then it slowly became a map that people loved.
Change can be jarring and it often skews our ability to judge. I have a strong feeling this map is going to be a fan favorite soon enough.
